You will be warmly welcomed by the home owner and will receive detailed information about the area. The pool is neatly kept and the garden is full of flowers, fruit trees and palm trees. You will reach the top via a separate path, where on clear days you can even see the isle of Ibiza. The sea is within walking distance, which makes this a fine location for a relaxed holiday. On your way to the beach and the lively promenade you will pass the natural park of 'Las Salinas', the flamingo-inhabited salt lakes. You can also swim in the wonderful private pool (can be lit). The Roman steps are perfect for children, enabling them to gradually make their way into the water. An outdoor shower, lounging chairs and barbecue complete the poolside terrace. Tips for day trips: take a stroll along the narrow streets of the old town of Calpe, where in July and August lovely artisan markets are held. Or visit the active fishing port and discover interesting inland villages such as Guadalest (25 km) and Jalon (15 km).
