Located at Raystown Lake, the crown jewel of Central Pennsylvania.
Note: quotes based on standard rates, please inquire for holiday rates and special event rates ie. PSU Football, PSU/Juniata College graduation, Homecoming, Dirtfest etc. 3 night minimum for holidays. For 
   
6% sales tax,  5% local occupancy tax, & $50. cleaning fee, will be attached to each reservation in addition to a $35. linen fee should guests elect to have sheets provided. Guests do have the option to bring their own sheets. 
 
Children 5 and under no charge.
 
Extended check in and out times may be available based on occupancy.
 
Discounts may be available for last minute rentals.

The Chalet is a charming and rustically beautiful vacation home. It is nestled in a 3 acre wooded lot with a creek. It offers a peaceful retreat yet just a few minutes from 7 Points Marina, Allegrippis Trails and downtown Huntingdon for dining & shopping. The fire pit is a perfect spot to enjoy a star lit night and create memories with family and friends. 
 
This house offers it's own eclectic charm, with  pine log headboards, as well as  leather furniture. The walls are adorned with rustic artwork and artifacts of days gone by.  
 
There are 3 full bedrooms as well as a twin sleeper sofa in the sun porch and queen sleeper sofa in the rec room. There is a 30' enclosed sun porch, rec room/bar area, 2 full baths, kitchen fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and a outdoor dining area off the great room.
 
The Chalet provides all the creature comforts you could hope for, including good quality electric fireplace in great room for heat and ambiance, expanded cable TV, free internet, free local/long distance phone service, gas grill (propane provided) , fire pit,  movies and much more.
 
For those families with small children, don't take up space in your vehicles for a pack and play, baby gate and highchair, they are provided. There will also be a plastic kiddie pool, nothing like a pool with a little water to keep toddlers occupied for hours.

Wildwood Rental owners, Pam & Bob Wild, have been in the vacation home rental business since 2005. The Wilds live in State College, Pa. but call the Raystown Lake area their home away from home. The lake as been apart of Pam's life since the age of 8. Her husband Bob is quite the boating enthusiast and fell in love with the lake as well. It is a wonderful place to create great memories with friends and family. Pam was in the Hotel/Restaurant industry for 25 years prior to starting a vacation home rental business. She knows what it takes to make her guests happy. You will appreciate her friendly and PROMPT replies to all rental inquiries and questions. With Pam you get a built in concierge.

 

The Wilds make a great team in that they work together to make sure the houses are well maintained and in top working order.

For those mountain bike enthusiasts, our rentals are only 5 minutes from the Allegrippis Trails, ranked among the top in the NATION.

 

What makes this House unique

Pam and Bob spend a great deal of time at their personal cottage which is close to their rentals. Their daughter and family live only a few minutes away as well. There is always someone available should a problem arise. The WIlds always return phone calls asap should there be any questions about their homes or the area.

Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy: Written cancellation request via email or US mail must be received and acknowledged by owner at 60 days in advance for a full refund of your deposit. 30 - 59 days for a 50% refund. less than 30 days no refunds. Winter policy: in the event of a serious storm prohibiting safe travel a full refund will be issued or the guests can move their reservation to another available date.

Excellent house with beautiful grounds


The house was very nice and comfortable for my entire family. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 children and we all had plenty of space. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The grounds were especially nice and private . We enjoyed the outside eating area and the fire pit - all situated in a peaceful wooded setting. Getting to the beach at Seven Points Receation Area was a breeze...just up the road a few miles. The kids loved the beach. I will recommend the Wildwood Chalet to my friends!

Perfect forest getaway!


We had a GREAT time at the Wildwood Chalet. The house is in a perfect location - close to the lake but tucked away in the woods, complete with an ideallic stream! The house is comfortable for large groups, has plenty of room for parking and a huge dining room, and comes with a fully equipped kitchen. What more can you ask for! The owners Pam and Bob were very friendly and helpful. They even hooked us up with some last minute boat rentals when our boat broke down on us. We\'ve stayed at many houses around Raystown, and this is by far the best! We can\'t wait to go back and stay at one of the Wildwood properties!

Perfect home and location !


First I want to say Pam the owner is excellent to deal with. Communication is super fast and easy. She really went above and beyond to insure we had a great experience. I feel like we had our own concierge. . The home is wonderful and immaculately clean. It had all creature comforts we could hope for. It has a well stocked kitchen. The location was perfect, within a few minutes we could be at the lake beach, the marina and Allegrippis Trails which were awesome for mountain biking and hiking. We especially enjoyed the peaceful wooded surroundings of the Chalet. It was great to sit around the firepit at night and listen to the sounds of nature. lf you want a romantic getaway or a family getaway Wildwood Chalet is perfect and customer service outstanding. Can\'t wait to go back !

We rented this property for it\'s close proximity to 7 Points Marina and Allegrippis Trails..... We were pleasantly surprised it was only 10 minutes from downtown Huntingdon as well which made is quite easy to buy groceries and go out for dinner. The pictures don\'t do the property justice. The house is beautiful. We loved it\'s rustic charm, it was immaculately clean and offered all the creature comforts we could hope for.. The owner, Pam, was a pleasure to work with, accessible and very accommodating. We felt like we had our own travel agent as she made wonderful suggestions for things to do. We highly recommend this private and peaceful location and will definitely be returning!
