Description

Our 3 bedroom + house is a great family vacation spot! We can sleep up to 10 (1 Queen, 2 bunk bed sets, 2 twins, and a trundle bed with 2 twins) on the inside and there is room on the 2 decks for those that would like to sleep under the stars! The living room has windows looking out toward the water.  The dining room table seats 6 and the kitchen bar can sit up to 4 more.  The kitchen comes with an electric stove, refrigerator, portable dishwasher, microwave and cabinets full of dishes, pots and pans,glasses, silverware, and serving utensils.  The trundle bed room doubles as a sitting room for reading a good book or taking an afternoon nap.  A large closet off the trundle bedroom has lots of games for all ages and a collection of gently worn books to read while you vacation with us. One of 3 bathrooms is on the main floor.
 
The loft bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, chair and its own balcony with another place to get away.  A bathroom with shower is located off this room, too.
 
The lower level of the house has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, the washer & dryer and two doors to the lower deck.
 
The bunk room houses the 2 bunk beds, a desk, a wardrobe and the washer/dryer closet.  The second bedroom has twin beds with a wardrobe, dresser with mirror , closet and its own door to the lower deck. The lower deck, with a porch swing, provides access to the backyard and the way to the private covered boat dock.

Enjoyed the lake house!


We enjoyed the lake house! We had an overall great time. Bathroom s a little disappointing but was functional....if someone in our group had been handicapped in anyway it would not have worked. A more comfortable living area furniture would have been appreciated since rain was in our area.

Awesome vacation


The house was awesome for the 7 of us for the week. It is a wonderful location and so very quite and private. We truly loved our stay. We enjoyed the porch with the fans most everyday.

Relaxing with easy access to lake


My family really enjoyed being on the lake. Our trip was very peaceful with easy boat access. One of our favorite places was the porch swing on the large wraparound porch. Plenty of room for everyone and with only 1 tv and limited internet access it meant minimal distractions. Although the home was dated it was perfect for all of us to enjoy one another\'s company.

Family Vaction


My family rented this house for a week in July, 2014. We took two elderly parents and four pre-teen/teenagers with us. The pictures are very accurate as to what the house really looked like. The home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were amazing! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and I found everything I needed. The lake area was very nice. It was in a nice cove that had very little boat activity. The water was very shallow and there was really no need to have life jackets. We were able to turn our children loose with several types of floats and games in the water and not have to worry about incoming boats and the water being over their heads. Naturally there were a few things that were disappointing but they were very minor. There was a slight musty smell from the basement. Although it bothered me most of the other family stated it never bothered them. The dock had a few loose/missing boards and needed some TLC. Due to the shallow water the fishing was not as exciting as my husband would have liked it to be. They did however catch several small blue gill and 2 bass. These are definitely not things that should change your mind if you are looking for a reasonably priced lake house to rent. There were several activities in the nearby area to enjoy as well. You will definitely need a vehicle if you plan to do any sightseeing in this area.
