Description

Your home away from home…….but with so much more in the neighborhood.
Inside, you have your living room area and the bedroom also has a tv if you both cannot decide what to watch. Or stay connected with the free WiFi available. The full kitchen (stove, refrigerator, sink, coffee, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, etc.) makes it easy if you prefer your own cooking or want to be a little thrifty.
Outside your door the pool is just a few steps away. The pool is located in the rear away from the street, and overlooks the lagoon. Along the back of the property near the seawall are the propane and charcoal grills and ample seating and tables to have your barbecue, or cocktails, or enjoy scenery and serenity in our (usually) peaceful environment.
Just across the street are the white sands of Fort Myers Beach leading into the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The sand slopes gently into the water so it is safe for children and lets adults find their comfort zone. You can relax on the sand in beach chairs or on towels provided to you for free. The sandy beach is seven miles long so you can decide just how far you would like to stroll along the water.
Not far away you will find parasailing or jet skis for rent, including a guided Dolphin Jet Ski which will take you toward Lover’s Key and into the mangroves.
Whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream, or a meal between your meals the Times Square Area is one block away. There you will find eight different restaurants and pubs to satisfy your cravings. Many of these places also have entertainment while you dine or drink. Every Friday and Saturday the World Famous Times Square Sunset Celebration runs from 5 pm to 10 pm out in the square. If that’s not enough there are another half dozen venues also within a short walk.
You can branch out for other adventures like golf, mini-golf, tennis, Music concerts and shows at Barbara B. Mann Theater, Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, Florida Reparatory Theater, Museums like the Mound House or Ford and Edison Estates, outlet malls, Dolphin Tours, movies, individual walks around nature preserves like Matanzas Pass Preserve or guided tours. Wow, where does it end?
Not even mentioned yet are favorite “off-island but still walkable” Bonita Bills Waterfront Café and newly relocated Shark Bar.
Sports enthusiasts can delight in Boston Red Sox Spring training activities and games. Shortly after the World Champion Boston Red Sox head north (as many people do) you can easily get great seats to Fort Myers Miracle baseball games. There are many current members of the Minnesota Twins who honed their skills while playing for this Twins minor league affiliate.
We are proud of the Florida Everblades, an affiliate of the NHL Carolina Hurricanes, who made to game seven of the 2018 Kelly Cup Final before falling to Colorado in a great, tough series.
It all come back to the beach, the center of attractions. Sunshine, warm waters, beach atmosphere, good times with good people!.
