Description

Falcon Lair has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms over 2600 square feet. It provides accommodation for up to 15 people - which includes a bunk room for children. It is located in an enviable position with panoramic views of the ski runs and Ten Mile Range - hence the property name 'Falcon Lair'!  
 
With wrap-around decks on 2 levels it offers the true mountain experience and of course the hot tub on the lower level allows for a relaxing time after a busy day skiing. In the summer the views are equally breathtaking and relaxing. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main living room which provides a cozy atmosphere during the colder winter months. On the lower level is a TV and games room with pool table again for relaxing after a day's skiing.
 
The kitchen is modern and well equipped should you decide to take a break from the varied excellent restaurants in Breckenridge.
 
Sporting Activities
Falcon Lair is only 2.5 miles from the world class ski resort town of Breckenridge. Several other spectacular ski resorts 
 
are also close by including Keystone, Copper Mountain and Vail. Although it is recommended to have your own vehicle to access the various resorts, there is the free Summit County shuttle bus close to the house to take you to the Gondola and Town Centre.
 
In the summer you can hike up Baldy Mountain from the house or enjoy the many other activities such as biking, 
 
golfing, or take the kids to the Peak 8 fun park. The biking is exceptional on the mountain trails or the paved bike track North to Frisco and beyond.
 
Other Local Activities and Events
For those looking for a more relaxing time, Breckenridge offers many festivals and cultural events particularly during the Summer and Fall - these include the Fourth of July Celebrations and Oktoberfest in the Fall. And in the Winter there is the Ullr Fest, Mardi Gras etc. 
 
Additionally, there are many first-rate restaurants and bars for apres ski and dinner. Shopping is also available in specialty shops on Main Street and the larger outlets in Frisco and Silverthorne.

The house provides two living areas both with dining, TV, refrigerator and microwave to accommodate larger families or groups. Wi-Fi and cable TV are available.

Fabulous family vacation!!


We had seven adults and four children in our group and we could have accommodated several more. The house is perfect, plenty of room to spread out in with privacy for everyone! The view was unbelievable. We saw several signs of wildlife including a big red fox who lives nearby. The hot tub was a big hit, as was the pool table. We had a blast!

Great view, very clean, good beds, great kitchen equipment, easy to get to, exactly how you described the home, and more. A little disappointed we did not see a bear. Well stocked pantry.

Spectacular views!


We had a wonderful week at this home in Breckenridge! It is a beautiful home, and it adequately accommodated our family of 15. The dining area is rather small, and it would have been nice to have a larger area in order to all eat together. It would have also been nice to have had more windows with screens so that we could have enjoyed more of the cool breeze. (Though there are a few windows with screens, many do not have screens.) We appreciated how Andrew worked with us, how he answered all our questions, and how accommodating he was concerning any requests we made. The views of the mountains from the home truly are spectacular! We would highly recommend this home to others. Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your home with us!

Great Summer House


Loved our stay! We were 12, including 3 teenagers. View is fantastic from kitchen, living room and balcony. House is well equipped. Excellent location for MTB, with trails right next to house and shuttle bus close by. Pool table and Hot Tub made it fun for teenagers. Beds were comfortable.
