Rustic Charm is a secluded Mountain View/Lake Access home with new additions for 2020! Twelve guests can enjoy the 4BR, 3BA home in Lone Mountain Shores on Norris Lake. This Norris Lake rental home sits on a large piece of land and includes its own seasonal private dock (recently expanded). "Charm's" dock lies in a private cove (great for swimming and fishing) and just a kayak ride away from Jimmys Place/Norris Landing Marina. 
 
Rustic Charm has 2 levels. You enter in the dining/kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. to make all the family fixins'. There is a dining table and bar stools. Off the kitchen, there is a full bathroom/laundry room. The great room has a big flat screen smart tv. The wifi is free, so bring your login info and enjoy your choice of movies conveniently from your own account. There are 2 bedrooms on this level. The master suite has a king size bed. The other bedroom has a queen bed. A queen air mattress is available if needed.  
 
All ages enjoy the lower level family room/game room. It has a pool table, Foosball table, and dartboard. Younger children can participate in the family fun, too. There's an activity table and plenty of sidewalk chalk for future Picasso's. There is a sectional sofa, wet bar, mini fridge, and flat tv screen for those rainy days. Four can camp out in the bunk room on 2 sets of twin bunkbeds. An additional queen bedroom has been added for the summer of 2020, as well as a full bathroom. 
 
This home has a unique lake access. You can walk the switchback trail for a nature walk down to the dock or you can drive all the way via a gravel/concrete access road. There are about 50 stairs to the private platform dock, which was just doubled in size! Water levels vary each year, but this dock is normally usable May- September. 
 
The landscaping and covered back deck add even more "charm" to this home. Grill a few steaks. Or, if you're lucky maybe your own "catch of the day". After a nice BBQ, what could be better than S'mores for dessert! Rustic Charm has a very nice firepit area with firewood provided year round. Pack some matches and roasting sticks,...and don't forget the Marshmallows!

Very nice family retreat

Perfect place and location for our party of 9!


The home is gorgeous with spectacular mountain views. It\'s secluded, which is perfect for our kinda getaway. While the dock is a pretty steep hike, the short drive down and back with everyone in the truck simplified things. The home is very well kept, and we loved the fireplace, hot tub, pool table, foosball, hammock, paddle boat, ice maker...there was really everything we could ask for and then some. We love this part of the lake as well; it\'s much less crowded than what we\'ve experienced in the past in northern areas around lafollette. Our 4th annual trip to Norris, and we have found the place we\'ll seek to book every year going forward. Thank you for opening your home to us!!
