Wonderful Stay

We said it felt like grandma and grandpa\'s house! Very endearing and large kitchen for our large group. There were enough areas through out the house, that allowed for alone time when needed. Very comfortable and provided for all our needs.

Good size & location

Great location and plenty of room. Bit of clutter & dated decor, but for a group, there was a lot of space to spread out. Lots of restaurants close by, as well as Aldi’s , which was very convenient. Lovely neighborhood to walk in & several parks nearby. Parking was super easy which is rare in Chicago. Proximity to train was great as well. Virgil was so responsive & helpful before, & during our stay.

Home away from home

We came in 2 groups ( my friend’s family and my son). Total of 7 people in a group. So we where looking for a place to stay especially with little ones with us. The apartment had a vintage feel to it but it has a very homey atmosphere. My son and my friends kept on complimenting on how the apartment feels so cozy especially the beds. Kitchen is well stocked from cooking pots and pans to condiments. We did save $ from eating out all the time. If you are like us that we cooked home meals . This place is for you ( especially in a big group with kids) . We are surprised when we found a baby high chair too! We have a good nights rest every time we went home from touring the city. It is close to many shops and restaurants around the area. Also it is not too far to the loop area. This is a very family oriented apartment . Thank you Mr Virgil for the chitchat. We enjoyed our stay in Chicago and hopefully we’ll be back soon. I will definitely choose this place again to stay !

great location and owner

great apartment for a larger family owner is great we hope to return

Graduation

This was the first time renting a home for vacation. The neighborhood was great. A grocery store across the street was great to purchase snacks and stuff for breakfast. The kitchen was great enough pans to make breakfast. The bedrooms and beds were good. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. If I have to come to Chicago again, I would hope this place is available. There is about a 45 mins drive to the city, but the neighboring towns like Oak Park and River Forest are great to go have lunch or dinner even dessert. These towns are about 30 mins away and easy to find parking.
