Villa Rum Cay enjoys a quiet cul-de-sac location on Punta Gorda Isles, an exclusive boating community on Port Charlotte Harbour. 120 square miles of sparkling water that lead directly to the Gulf of Mexico. The location makes it an ideal location to explore the nearby islands of Sanibel, Captiva, and Boca Grande. Siteseeing cruies run from nearby Fisherman's Village own to the Gulf Island or up river to se the real "old Florida"
 
 From your private dock you can fish, rent a boat or just watch the fantastic sunsets. A few minutes WALK away is Fisherman's Village, a complex of seven restaurants and numerous shops all built on the water on Charlotte harbour. There is a large heated pool (heating optional) a gas BBQ and plenty of patio furniture as well as a full size pool bar. The villa has three  bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps a maximum of six people (an additional child can be accommodated on a sofa bed at a extra charge). South facing pool and wireless internet provided.
 
Booking Notes:
Electric pool heating is optional, it is recommended ath the very least from mid-October - April. Please let us know if you want Pool Heat when you request information and we can adjust the quote accordingly.

Outside:
From the lounge large glass sliding windows open up to a stunning huge pool deck. Together with a full size bar, there is a dining table, sun loungers and patio furniture surround the pool, and give great views over the water. A few steps lead down to your private boat dock, from where you can fish, or maybe rent a boat and explore.
 
Utility Room:
Washer and dryer.
 
Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:
All towels and linen are included except for pool/beach towels.

We purchased Rum Cay from the previous owners Peter & Stephanie Chapman, Kent UK in 2016. Their love of this beautiful unspoilt part of the South West Florida Gulf coast has passed onto us. Punta Gorda to be a haven of peace and tranquillity, friendly locals and unspoilt nature at its best.
We have realized our dream of owning a home here and since then, many guests have enjoyed staying at our much loved Punta Gorda villa.

Great Home


We rented this property for a spring break getaway, and we couldn\'t have been happier. The home was awesome and the location couldn\'t have been better. This home had everything you could possible need for a great stay, and was in walking distance from so many great shops and restaurants. We couldn\'t have enjoyed ourselves more and have already passed the rental information along to friends who are looking for a place in the area later this year. Property was in a great location. Very quiet neighborhood. House needs some updating. Bathroom light didn\'t always come on. 68 degrees at night was hot in the back bedrooms at night (that\'s the lowest we were allowed to set it). We ran out of toilet paper. Everything else was great. Plenty of room and would rent here again in the future.

This beautiful property is located in a beautiful location , walking distance from fisherman’s village! The home has an amazing pool that the kids didn’t get out of. Everything You Want


This property was a get-a-way for myself and 2 friends and this house was PERFECT! Clean, bright, airy, well stocked and the pool /lanai was GORGEOUS! Easy walk to Fisherman’s Village. We enjoyed our stay there so much we will definitely return!
