Description

Rustic Cabins in the hills of St. Andrew Jamaica on the main road. Perfect for nature lovers. Enjoy the view from property, the sounds of different birds, lush vegetation and pretty flowers. Go hiking explore our community, then cool down from the afternoon in our pool. Common area is suited with a Jerk Pit, table and chairs. Have a few beers, listen to sweet reggae music while we jerk chicken/fish and play dominoes. Experience a conscious Jamaican family vibes.
 
The space
This is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen with a fridge and Hot plate, a balcony with a very pretty garden view perfect for a single person or couple. Free breakfast for your first morning.
 
Guest access
Guest have access to all areas of the property, they also have access to the pool and sitting areas. The main garden is suited with a Jerk pit. You can have a few beers and jerk some chicken/fish or have someone do it for you at a cost.
 
Other things to note
Weekend guests gets a chance to see a live Band performance with Reggae Artist Abijah.

If at booking your party is 1, 2, 3 or 4, that number of people is who we are expecting. If you plan on having company or visitors, you will need to let us know before. absolutely no pop ups without permission! Thank you.

Great Stay!


My daughter and I arrived in the afternoon and was greeted by Colleeno and Abijah, and their 3 children Akeeba 8, Ashira 11, and Asher 1.5. We became instant family. I had very little expectations of this type of bond. I was just hoping the hosts would be responsive and helpful when needed. I didn’t expect to find a brother during the trip, but that’s what Abijah was. They served our every need. We stayed up and looked at the stars and talked about life. They have many fruit trees on the property that they shared with us. The place is beautiful and surrounded by plants that Abijah cares for like they are his own children. The children were a joy and were so bright and full of energy. Akeeba and my daughter became sisters instantly. My daughter bonded with all of the children and Colleeno cared for them when I needed to run errands. This was such a major help for me as well as a joy for my daughter. After 2 weeks, we were very sad to leave our family. We will be returning next year.

Place is so magical


That place is so magical , you don\'t need to much so that the owners are welcoming and put you at ease. Their small chalet is pleasant, even if some will find the comfort basic, I loved it because they filled me... The small swimming pool is a real plus for the children. So much to say actually ... Special treatment or not , Colleeno and Abijah treated us like royalty and opened the doors of their home and hearts to us . We have found much more than accommodation, we have found a family! We love you

wonderful experience on the island!!


Where to start.... arriving 2 hours late at night in Kingston without a phone (lost it on the way to the airport) AND no access to airbnb or email, etc and I\'m trying to find somewhere to regroup thinking it\'s way to late for the planned ride when out of nowhere Miss Grinly shows up like a ray of sunshine. this was just the beginning of a wonderful life changing experience on the island. the space is beautiful and organic but well maintained and clean. art and creativity run rampant and the music is good. quiet spaces if you want or jam out to some great music with friends. there are a not trivial amount of stairs but I managed it while recovering from nerve damage in my legs so it looks more daunting then it actually is. we are eternally grateful to everyone and look forward to another visit soon.

Sweet Serenity, the name speaks for it self. The ambiance is breathtaking. The warm welcome from Colleeno and her family was everything, it was like home away from home. Definitely recommend.

Stop thinking and make your move to this absolutely 9star spot not too far away from Kingston. Abi and Colleeno are wonderful hosts and they will make sure you are allright. Temperatures at mountain side are a bit lower especially night time so bring your hoodie. Heartical vibes!

Best place in JA vibe is right. Stunning view, pool on site river flowing through the property natural herbal plants Jerk pit to jerk what you like. Never a dull moment at Sweet Serenity.

We loved the cabin!


We loved the cabin! It was exactly as advertised and suited my fiancé and I very well during our week stay. The area was lush and beautiful with flowers and fruits of all kinds and colors. We paid a bit extra for Colleeno\'s meals and it was definitely worth it! Spending time away from the hustle and bustle of the city and tourist attractions helped us get a real look into the local Jamaican culture! Transportation is cheap, the people are friendly and always willing to help, inform, and provide a little wisdom. Colleeno, Abijah, and their children made us feel like family and whenever we come back to Kingston, we will definitely want to stay there.
