Join us for a your pre-wedding activities, a girls getaway or just to explore the incredibly cute town of La Grange!
 
Please note that La Grange has a working train that comes through the middle of town. There is no set schedule for the train and it can come through at various times throughout the day and night. This property is adjacent to the tracks and while many guests find it charming and enjoy watching the train pass by, ear plugs are provided should the noise disturb you.

Guests are welcome to use the cruiser bikes! It’s just a short 3-block ride to the town square, the DQ, H‑E‑B, antique stores, bakery and shops! Please only use the bikes if you are a confident bike rider and you are prepared to assume all risks involved with biking. Helmets provided.

Im Caroline and live in Austin with my three children. Life is super busy! Which is why I love the slower pace, sense of community and ease that comes with staying in a small Texas town like La Grange.
I also love anything that has a story behind it and has character that can be felt- like antiques and old homes! Whether you are on a girls trip to reconnect, a visit to Round Top or just to unwind in a quieter space, I truly hope you enjoy it here as much as I do!
Why Caroline chose La Grange
The house is a restored Victorian guesthouse. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, one with a king-size bed and one with a queen; two twins on the second floor and a queen pull out sofa in the living room. One bathroom features a claw foot tub and a hand held shower, one bathroom has a full size bathtub and there is also a stand up shower on the main level. There is a clawfoot tub upstairs that has been converted into a shower.
In the kitchen please help yourself to bottled water in the fridge and Keurig coffee, drip coffee and tea selections. Powdered creamer, sugar and salt and pepper are provided.
If you are joining us for Round Top Antique Festival we have a full size garage that you are welcome to store your finds in. There is an automatic side gate that leads to the driveway and garage. The driveway can accommodate 2-3 cars for off street parking.
What makes this House unique
La Grange is a charming little town and you are just three blocks away from the town square and courthouse, where there is a coffee shop, wine bar, antique shops and boutiques. Round Top and Warrenton are both just a short drive from the house. If you are attending a wedding at The Ice Plant Building, you are literally around the corner from the wedding venue!
There are a number of fun activities including a winery, brewery and historical sites that you can visit from La Grange. Also dont miss the famed Kolache Trail! Check out the La Grange Visitors Guide here!

50% refund of amount paid (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 7 days before check-in.

Charming Home


This is a charming home in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed in La Grange while touring the painted churches in near by towns. This was a great place to come home to. The house was clean, beautifully furnished and we loved having extra space for everyone in our party. Caroline was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Excellent stay.

Cutest little house near the venue where I got married!


Me and my bridesmaids stayed at Caroline’s place the night before my wedding, and then we spent our first night as husband and wife there! It’s so cutely decorated and very cozy! I am obsessed with the chandelier in the dining area. Caroline went above and beyond as a host. She left water bottles in the fridge, there was coffee and tea you could make, and she even sent me delicious cupcakes right when we arrived in town :) 10/10 recommend!

Relaxing Girls Getaway!


This house is absolutely charming! It was perfect for our pre-holiday girls getaway to relax, unwind and do a little last minute shopping before the Christmas craze! The house was perfect...spacious, comfortable...and what a find! 3 Bedrooms each with their own bath! Caroline has decorated the home impeccably...while thoughtfully respecting the history of the home. Would definitely stay again! Absolutely precious!
