The Reef 5 Penthouse is located within Blue Bay Beach&Golf resort, a secure and green oasis of tranquility in one of the most beautiful places on the island. A place where you can enjoy the finer things in life, be it unwinding in the tropical pool, playing golf, exploring the house reef while snorkelling, or sipping cocktails at the famous beautiful beach of Blue Bay, located just 400 meter distance away.
Or make a nice drink yourself with stunning ocean views from the spacious 30m2 porch
 
The space
For The Reef 5 Penthouse we made a careful selection of materials without compromise resulting in a modern, fresh and contemporary interior. The most important interior elements are imported from Europe. We added a tropical touch with a high roof, hard wooden doors and a spacious porch/terrace with a nice breeze for cooling.
 
The penthouse has two bedrooms, each with its own spacious bathroom / furniture / toilet equipped with hand- and bath towels. From the 2 shutter windows you have a beautiful view of the golf course.
Both bedrooms are equipped with linens, ample closet space and air conditioning unit. A separate guest toilet is present.
As well as an iron and ironing board, washing- and drying machine and other useful household things in the pantry.
The open, fully equipped kitchen with a cooking island and dinner table includes an induction plate, microwave / oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee / Nespresso for the fan, blender and a kettle.
The entire apartment is air conditioned and has high speed wifi everywhere. Electricity is 220 volts.
The living room has a seating area with smart flat screen TV and 50-plus channels. The extra space, light and stunning ocean views comes through the sliding doors which opens to the 30 m2 corner porch/terrace.
From the lounge seating area and dinner table you may relax with your favorite drinks. In the evenings the lights give a romantic setting.
The tropical oase/pool with sun terrace and sun beds is just meters away.

Guest access
Reef 5 Penthouse is only accessible and for use by our guests. With a lot of privacy. A reserved parking place is available for your car.
 
Guest access To Blue Bay
Blue Bay Resort is a gated Golf & Beach Resort with 24/7 security. It is child-friendly and very safe.
Our guests have full access to all Blue Bay facilities, including the free beach with sunbeds, massage room and palapas, swimming pool, restaurants, bars, a diving center, beach store, golf, tennis and a gym.
 
Other things to note
All guests are welcome at our place. Their background, religion, gender or sexual orientations do not play any role.
The Penthouse has 220 V (European) and there are a few adopters available for 110 V (US).
Wifi password and information folder are ready for our guests.
Personal check-in and -out, and a key locker is available as an option.
For car rental we can engage a partner at Blue Bay with a free pick-up service from the Airport.

My name is Andre . I was born in Curacao and moved to the Netherlands with parents on my 4th year. I have been living in Curacao for a number of years now as a penshionado. The Island and the climate are downright fantastic. Blue Bay with the white sandy beach with numerous palm trees, the turquoise sea, the cozy bar and the luxurious restaurants. I do golf myself, do yoga and dive regularly on Blue Bay Resort.
Curacao is the place to be, so much to do!

Additional Rate details

Cancellation Policy
Relaxed.
Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they have paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will get back 50%. Otherwise they do not get a refund. We advise you to book a travel policy. Prepayment is 20% from the rent. Final payment 2 weeks before arrival.
 
Other terms:
The prices are the basic rate for 2 persons. There is a surcharge of 15 usd pp from 2 persons. The prices include 0.5 m3 water and 25 kWh electricity per day with normal consumption. Excessive consumption will be charged.
 
Additional fees per stay:
1. Final cleaning fee 120 $
2. Tourist tax 7%
3. Service charges 65 $
 
Sun beds at the oasis / pool are free, as is access to the Blue Bay beach with sun beds. Linens, towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, toilet and hand gel are all provided.
 
Payments:
By banktransfer ING, Paypal or cash.
● The minimum stay is 4 nights.
● Arrival time is from 15.00 pm
● Departure time at 11.00 am
● If no new guests arrive on the day of your departure, it is possible to stay longer without costs

We really enjoyed!!


We really enjoyed our week at Andres place. The unit was bright and open with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Andre was really easy to communicate with and helped us figure out a few things throughout the week. We loved Blue Bay beach - get there before 9 am to get the shaded palapas, and be sure to snorkel on the right side of the bay where the coral gets dense and there are lots of fish. Also, anyone considering a trip to Kleine Curacao, note that Mermaid picks up from Blue Bay resort at 545 am - nice not to have to drive ourselves to the pier. Overall a great week.

Wonderful vacation!


We had a lovely month-long stay! The location is perfect and Blue Bay is so beautiful. All the amenities to make you feel at home and very safe for the entire family to enjoy the beach, restaurants and long walks. The condo is modern, comfortable, great for cooking meals, laundry was so convenient in the unit, and the patio was our favourite place to enjoy meals, and morning coffee. The pool was the best weve ever experienced! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

A very nice condo...view is exactly as advertised, and the apartment is well furnished for use. Furniture is easy to swap around as you see fit for the day. The breeze flowing through the condo is exactly what we needed during the afternoons on the patio. Andre is a great host. Enjoy this nice property.

Great Experience!


We had a great experience at Blue Bay Resort. It is a short drive (2-3 minutes) to the beach area. The snorkeling was great there and they have a restaurant on the beach where we had a terrific lunch. We did explore other beaches too while we were there. The location is good as it is 10-15 minutes from airport and Willemstad. Andre was a great host and met us there upon check in and was responsive to our questions throughout the week. The condo is new and the photos were accurate. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Overall a great experience and we loved Curaao.
