The space
Book this place if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Book this place if you want your weekend to go by slowly and spend true quality time with loved ones. Book this place if you don't want strangers on top of you during your vacation. All that is here are the trees, the bluff overlooking the creek, and birds surrounding you. You're secluded and it's a joy to sit on the porch, hear the creek below and sip your warm cup of coffee. When it rains, the creek turns into a river and it sounds amazing. The closest neighbor is about 200 yards away and it's nothing but trees in between and you can't hear them or see any part of their home. This place is perfect for families trying to get out of the city and enjoy Mother Nature. It's for families to sit by the campfire and teach their kids how to make s'mores. You have your own 12 private acres on a massive bluff overlooking the creek! That's why you should book! But please, if you want a luxurious massive cabin, please look elsewhere so that you're not disappointed! This is for nature lovers and couples wanting that quiet, peaceful getaway. It's for the kids to explore and play without worrying about being too close to other cabin neighbors. Please bring your marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and enjoy!
Â
This cozy cabin has 1 bedroom (w/king size bed) + 2 sleeping lofts (w/full size beds) + pull out couch in the living room. The cabin is small so please keep that in mind when booking!! It has everything you need and it’s super relaxing for you and your loved ones. This cabin is in rural Oklahoma and we want you to book, if you want to have that Oklahoma country feel.
Â
The cabin has a short steep incline getting to it so please drive an adequate vehicle (no motorcycles).
Â
The faucet water is rain water so you can’t drink that water, but there is Primo drinking water that’s available in a premier water dispenser.
Â
I just upgraded the bed to a king size for the master bedroom. The living room couch pulls out to a queen size bed for your kids if they are too young for the lofts. There are two full size beds up in each loft. The master bedroom is not very large and the bed takes up most of the room. I noticed most guests would rather have a king size bed and less space in the room. We want you to be comfortable and have a better sleeping experience and so we decided to lose space and provide a big king size bed. The master bedroom has a window unit for AC and it really helps keep the room cool during the hot summer days.

Â

Guest access
There are 12 acres on the property and most of it is wooded. There's plenty of room to hike and explore what rural Oklahoma has to offer. (One of the photos displayed, outlines where the 12 acres are located) There is also a local swimming hole with a natural spring about 100 yards from the cabin. It's located near the property's gate entrance.
Â
Other things to note
*The water heater is small due to the limited amount of space in the bathroom and so it only gives about 5 minutes of hot water. Please shower quickly! Please don't take more than 2-3 minute showers as you will drain all the rainwater for other guests. This is a nice camping getaway and not the "5 star Ritz Carlton" camping.
Â
*Please don’t put baby wipes/ feminine products or anything besides toilet paper down the toilet.
Â
*Bring firewood if you’d like. There are lots of dead leaves and sticks around, but bringing your own firewood would make it easier.
Â
*Some folks fish at the creek for gar fish, but fishing at the creek is not why you should come here. Some people drive to Sardis Lake for fishing on vacation and Sardis Lake is about 30 mins from the cabin.
Â
*The cabin is not massive. It’s small and cozy so I don’t want you thinking it’s a big place. The real beauty is outside overlooking the creek. I could cut down more tree limbs, but it wouldn’t look very natural and would be too bare.
