Introducing Snugly Valley, your retreat away from the bustle of city life, nestled in the serene beauty of Ompah, North Frontenac. Ideal for families seeking a peaceful escape, this semi-private waterfront cottage offers a unique blend of comfort and outdoor adventure. Enjoy being a part of Canadian Heritage. Initially, a house was built in 1914 by a Scottish immigrant who, at that time, owned about 300 acres of local land. The original owner passed away in 1986. The current family bought a house in 2023 and gave the house and land new life, trying to keep some pieces of the original property. Unique living room ceiling, living room pocket doors, and a statue of a lion that keeps the original family coat of arms make Snugly Valley a part of Canadian legacy. With the help of local creators, we designed a warm and inviting space for your entire family, boasting three bedrooms thoughtfully designed for 6 adults & 2 kids but can to accommodate up to 10 guests, including a king bed, queen bed, bunk bed, and sofa bed. For a cozy stay, you'll find modern amenities such as a 6 person's Outdoor Atlantic series Hot tube with scenic river views, a bathtub, power massage shower heads, and essential conveniences like Wi-Fi, heating, and AC.
 
Step outside to discover a stunning outdoor oasis designed for relaxation and play. From a gazebo with mosquito nets to an outdoor gaming room featuring a 3-in-1 table, endless entertainment awaits you. Kids will love the large playground, while the organized fire pit area sets the tone for memorable evenings under the stars. Unwind by the dock and embark on exciting water adventures. You will have complimentary access to a canoe, kayak, and paddle boat to explore the nearby private waterfall. For fishing enthusiasts, a plastic fishing boat is available for a small fee, ensuring fun for all ages.

We are pet-friendly, allowing two pets per stay with prior approval and an additional cleaning fee. During winter, rest assured of our flexible cancellation policy in challenging weather conditions. 25% of the total amount is due at time of booking.

Security deposit
A pre-authorization of 10% / $249 is held on 1 days before arrival and voided on 7 days after departure.
 
Cancellation Policy
100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier.
0% refundable if canceled after.
 
Notes
Our rates start from $450 a night. However, we also use a dynamic pricing system where certain rates could be higher depending on the time of the year. 
 
Please note:
• A $50 per guest per night fee is applied for groups larger than 8.
•  We allow Pets! but we do limit the number of pets to 2.
• If the number of guests that arrive for the reserved accommodation is larger than the amount agreed upon within the invoice details. Snugly Valley reserves the right to withhold the entire deposit amount.
