The cottage is really in a silent, but main section of Askrigg, near to the cathedral, phone box, stores, and places to eat.
This cottage has several traditional attributes like lumber beamed ceilings plus a range, in addition to modern comforts of electrical heaters throughout and double-glazing.
The first floor includes an entry reception, warmed with clothing shelves. Your kitchen is light and airy, nicely furnished with an electrical oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, washer/drier, a wall heater and loads of storage room. The big sitting area with dining area, includes a door in the southern end resulting in a gardensmall, highwalled, private patio garden. A bbq is accessible and there's a protected shed for bikes. Off-street parking have been covered, by the cottage. The primary windows of the sitting area face west and appreciate the night sunlight.
Upstairs includes the double room with a sloping top which faces south with vistas of the dale and fells.
There's an en-suite bathroom with cubicle bath.
The room faces west and got two single mattresses, with a view over the dale. There's a TELEVISION with DVD/VCR.
The primary bathroom includes a bathtub with shower and display.
