Nestled in historic High Falls, NY, Blue Stone Cottage offers the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend or a tranquil gathering with family and friends. Just a short drive to Woodstock, minutes from downtown New Paltz, Mohonk Mt. House, Lake Minnewaska , the famous, "Gunks", and only 2 miles to the quaint hamlet of High Falls ( the center of the universe). Blue Stone Cottage is an ideal retreat while you are visiting the Hudson Valley, a lovely location for an intimate wedding and a home away from home for special family gatherings.
Blue Stone Cottage Bed and Breakfast offers cozy, inviting antiques filled bedrooms with queen size beds and full private baths.Daily homebaked delights accompany three course gourmet breakfasts. If you love hiking, biking, antiquing, art galleries, strolling through romantic little towns, intimate restaurants and relaxing in nature, you will love my home and my High Falls. After your day of exploring the area, relax in a Jacuzzi bath, snuggle in the antique iron bed on the "napping porch" or, just take in the beauty of the day on the patio by the koi pond. Room rates are based on double occupancy. Check-in time is 4pm to 10pm. Check-out time is negotiable.
Reservations: We require a two night minimum stay from May thru November.* Single night reservations may be accepted but there is a $25 surcharge per room. All payments must be by check, cash or money order. We require a payment of $125 to secure your reservation as well as the balance paid in full upon arrival.
Please note: We serve full breakfast on weekends and holidays and continental breakfast Monday thru Friday. We will accept children over twelve as guests. We cannot accept pets. There is absolutely NO SMOKING PERMITTED IN THE HOUSE.
Cancellations: All secured reservations will be assessed a $25 service charge per room if cancelled anytime up to two weeks prior to arrival. If reservation is cancelled within two weeks of arrival, you forfeit your deposit.
For holiday and/or multiple room reservations, we require three weeks notice to refund your deposit less the $25 service charge per room. If you have any questions, special circumstances or special requests, please contact us at 845-687-7717.
