At just 10 minutes from Mantua, in the heart of the Mincio Park, the Corte Casone is an ancient farmhouse whose name had already appeared in some documents of the early 15th century. Now it is a farm which offers bed and breakfast service. The recent renovation has been done preserving the original ceilings with wooden rafters and bricks, the brick arcade and the ancient pigeon loft. The wide garden surrounding the farmhouse is provided with tables Our donkeys Mariposa and Platero and forms in order to let visitors picnic in a relaxing open space or simply enjoy the peaceful countryside. The bedrooms are furnished in a simple and comfortable way; they have private bathrooms and are available from 6:00 p.m to 10:00 a.m. every day.
Breakfast is served in the hall until 9:30 a.m. At Agriturismo Corte Casone B&B we speak English, German, Spanish and French. Our donkeys, goats, dogs and cats are always ready to be petted by visitors who love animals and their company; if you wish to bring your own pets, they’ll be admitted (former agreement is required). You can sleep in a double or in a single room, all provided with private bathrooms. Additional beds available. The recently renovated rooms have preserved the original structure of Single room wooden rafter ceilings and bricks; there you may find a lovely place to have a healthy and comfortable rest from 6:00 p.m to 10:00 a.m. every day, except in case of different agreements. Local foodstuffs–based italian breakfast is served in the hall until 9:30 a.m, except in case of different agreements. Gluten–free breakfast on request.
