Fair Rigg was designed and built for the builder's own occupation, in the heyday of Victorian architecture at the end of the 19th century, a time when the full glory of the Lake District was being revealed.

The Vacation Home enjoys a country setting, and yet remains within easy walking distance of Bowness with its abundance of bars, restaurants, shops and the shore of Lake Windermere. Designed to take full advantage of its hillside location, the house has fine views, with most rooms looking out over fields and trees to the lake and fells beyond.

At the rear of the property there is private parking for our guests - 1 space per room. At the front there is a small patio / garden where you can sit and enjoy a drink or simply take in the superb view and watch the world go by.

Fair Rigg has 6 bedrooms, 3 King size, 2 double and 1 twin, all are designed for your comfort, light, fresh and clean with plenty of room to relax and unwind. Just right for spending the evening in.

Each room is individually decorated and furnished in careful co-ordinated style, with comfortable good quality furniture i.e. leather tub chairs, leather sofa etc, all are well equipped with flat screen televisions and DVD players, we also have a DVD library for your enjoyment, hairdryers, complementary tea and coffee trays and much more Accommodation.

All bedrooms are en-suite, four of them having a bath as well as a shower. In each en-suite you will find a good supply of thick soft white towels and complementary toiletries. All rooms are served by an efficient hot water system, Luxury Vacation Rental rarely found in a small Holiday Home Guest House.
