The Spruce Cottage was finished in 2004. Lots of wood here -the natural round log walls and beams are of spruce. The floor, spiral stairs and cabinets are a beautiful mix of hardwoods from Big Hill. Everything is very much hand crafted from trees off the property.
The spruce logs were cut from below the A-Cabin. It is nestled in a beautiful grove of spruce and has a large front deck (with BBQ) and lovely wilderness view. The interior is beautifully hand crafted with full bath, small fully equipped kitchen (includes microwave). This cottage would be very spacious for two people or fine for four. The main sleeping area is the large, one room upstairs loft with double bed. Down stairs there is a futon which may used as a bed as well.
