Sleeps: 8With knotty pine walls, ‘old look’ cast iron gas fire and classic Wedgwood stove, this cozy cabin makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Although it may appear small from the front, the cabin is 1250 square feet and extends backwards to include three bedrooms and two bathrooms. As a single story home with forced air central heating and dual pane windows the cabin is particularly good for younger and older guests and those that feel the cold. The location is less than half a mile from Reagan Beach with its grassy picnic area, children’s playground and stunning views of the lake. The city golf course is one block away, Heavenly Ski Resort is a five minutes drive, as is the Nevada Stateline with specialty shops, restaurants and casinos. The Bijou Pines neighborhood is on the south side of Highway 50 a couple of miles before the Nevada stateline. The area is characterised by a mix of older cabins and tall pine trees. The Bijou Pines cabin is half a mile from Reagan Beach - a great spot for sledding in the winter. We are also close to the city golf course, Heavenly Ski Resort, the stateline casinos, the ice rink, swimming pool, Safeways and the South Lake Tahoe college.
