Located in the far northeast corner of Tennessee, our architect-designed mansion, c.1889, built by a retired Union soldier. Unique  shingle style Victorian house on 3 acres with a view of Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. First sunrise in Tennessee--spectacular. The Pavilion, Gallery and Wedding Garden are perfect for elopements, destination weddings and reunions. Seating for 50 inside;closer to 100 in the garden. Tent site for 150+. Our main website provides full details about our wedding services--coordination included. Large weddings require full-inn/2 day rental. We make weddings perfect and perfectly simple to enjoy. Guest rooms: king or queen beds, huge rooms, mountain views from every window. Fireplaces in all rooms; choice of three whirlpool rooms or an antique tub+ modern shower. Balcony, historic glass. Location: NE Tenn. on the western Appalachian slope. 17 miles to the Appalachian Trail and Virginia Creeper bike trail. 25 min. to Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk, NC for shopping, skiing, white water and hiking. Grandfather Mountain--a spectacular private mountain! Just over 2 hours from Knoxville and just over an hour from Jonesborough, TN.
