One is likely to find guests splashing in Lake Okanagan 100 feet away or touring the S.S. Sicamous paddlewheeler that is docked at the west end of Lakeshore Drive. Our front desk is happy to take messages for those too busy touring wineries on the Naramata Bench or floating gently on tubes down the Penticton River Channel. It’s not uncommon for staff at the nearby bike rental shop to know more about where guests are than we do: biking the Trans Canada Trail or up at Ellis Creek/Carmi. Fresh seafood and mexican restaurants next door are where many of our guests go to fill up before, during or after a day in Penticton. Guests may use the Rochester Resort's free wireless Internet to share stories with friends and family back home about life by Lake Okanagan.
