We have the perfect location for those who want to enjoy a private quiet setting on the shores of Lake Superior and view mother nature at her best.
Our cottage is in the western end of Upper Michigan in the small town of Keweenaw Bay. We are located six miles north of Baraga and twenty miles from Houghton.
It is situated on two private acres with 435' of private beach. We have easy access off U.S. 41 yet tucked in on a private road.
This newer cottage has 850 sq. ft. of modern, nicely decorated living area with an open design and lots of light. The cottage is exceptionally clean with central air and heat. It has a full bath, two bedrooms with queen beds and a queen air mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size appliances, microwave and utensils. All linens, towels and furnishing are provided. A laundry facility, Dish Network/DVD with a large assortment of movies is also available. The deck is fully furnished with gas grill and patio furniture. Enjoy a campfire in the fire pit on the beach. Some small dogs allowed with prior approval. Agreement of our pet policy rules is required. A pet charge of 100.00 per pet, per week would apply.
There are many hiking and nature trails as well as several waterfalls, beautiful scenic sites and state parks to visit.
Reservations require an initial deposit. If it becomes necessary to cancel your stay, please provide us with notification as far in advance as possible. If we are able to obtain a replacement reservation for the period you wish to cancel, we will refund your initial deposit.
Reservations are made on a first-come-first-serve basis. We must receive your deposit within one week of your confirmation. Full payment is expected 30 days prior to arrival.
Weekly rentals only between June 15 - Oct 1. Weekly summer rentals are from Sunday to Sunday. A three night minimum stay is required all other times.
A $200 Security Deposit is required. After your departure, the cottage will be inspected and the deposit will be returned within one week.
Weekly rates: $1200.00 a week per couple/Immediate family(17 and under) up to 6 persons. Additional adults, add $15.00 per night per adult.
Daily rates: $200.00 per day per couple/family, three night minimum.
