The famous Seney Wildlife refuge (15 minutes) is a great place to spend a day canoeing or kayaking. With fabulous sunsets around a bon-fire, you can watch brookies surface for bugs or listen to lonely loon calls. This is a vacation designation that has just been opened for solitude lovers. The six mile long trail to this cabin can be confusing at night, so please plan on coming in the daytime and enjoy the wildlife and wilderness scernery on your way in.
