Green Earth Mountain Retreat is a small business and I take a great deal of pride in making my guests happy at my secluded mountain view cabin here in northeast Tennessee, especially since most of my guests come to visit the retreat by word of mouth recommendations. The guest cabin is only a short walk to the Appalachian Trail and just over two miles to Roan Mountain State Park with tennis courts, swimming pool, trout fishing, hiking trails and cross country skiing. Roan Mountain is 6,285 feet, one of the highest mountains in the Eastern U.S. with 360 degree views of endless peaks over 5,000 feet and only a short drive to the North Carolina ski slopes of Beech and Sugar mountains, shopping, fine restaurants, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, white water rafting and much more.
