There's a lot to do in and around this area. Golf at Callaway Gardens or The Fields at Rosemont Hills. Callaway Gardens is one of the world's largest, most diverse and unique resort. Swimming and sunning on mile long Robin Lake Beach with paddleboats and miniature golf, etc.
Roosevelt State Park enjoy hiking, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and picnic areas. Dowdell's Knob, Franklin D. Roosevelt's favorite picnic spot, overlooks a magnificent view of Pine Mountain Valley. Just ten minutes away is Historic Warm Springs, home of Franklin D. Roosevelt 's "Little White House" and Museum, take a tour and stroll along the walkway of 50 state flags and stones.
Downtown Pine Mountain is just ten minutes from our cabin with its great antiques, local crafts, and restaurants. Be sure to stop by Antique Junction, Mountain Creek and other shops for a variety of collectibles and antiques. Try out the many restaurants such as San Marcose Mexican, Three Little Pings Barbecue, Pine Mountain Gourmet Cafe' for great sandwiches and Blue Bell ice cream, Fox's Pizza for a fabulous pizza. For elegant dining try Cricket's in Pine Mountain, Oak Tree Victorian in Hamilton or Oscar's Steak and Seafood in Warm Springs.
