The Dancing Bear Cottage is a fully furnished cabin for a single couple, with all the high end comtempary amenities and conveniences for a perfect getaway of relaxation, indulgence and romance. Special features include: king size bed, eat in kitchen, outdoor hot tub on your private screened porch over looking the forest, gas fireplace, steam shower and jetted freestanding tub, flat screen TV with Satellite reception, DVD player and complimentary wireless internet connection. The cabin was built using eco friendly building practices, with bambo floors in the bath, no VOC paints, and a tankless water system.

Your privacy and relaxation are assured at the Dancing Bear Cottage as we do not cater to large groups or party weekends. Maximum cabin occupancy is strictly enforced. Our cottage is not designed to accommodate groups and if this is your intention we can refer you to other establishments in the area that can meet your needs.

Extend your relaxation and enjoy spa services at the Oasis Day Spa located only steps away next door at the Mountain Laurel Creek Inn. Advance reservations are highly recommended to ensure availability of your preferred treatment.

The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen and is self-catered. At this time we are unable to offer our cottage guests breakfast at the Inn.

The cost for either package is $30.00. Please be sure to indicate that you’d like to order the breakfast package when you make your reservation as this is only available with advance notice.

The Dancing Bear Cottage is surrounded by the beauty of nature and many of our guests never venture further than a short hike down our walking trail that is steps away from your front door. Should you decide to venture out, there are plenty of activities in the area to fill your days. Winery tours, shopping in historic Dahlonega, waterfall hikes, rafting, golfing and gold panning are just some of the activities that await you!
