The house can sleep 8 (two queen rooms and a double bunk room). You can also rent our pine cottage (by itself or together) which fits another 2. You can even comprise the bunkhouse to sleep another three people. You have a choice of renting a place for 2 or up to 15 people.
The Chewuch Riverfront Retreat is only 1 mile from the charming "western" town of Winthrop with great restaurants, bakeries and plenty of shops to browse. Yet, when you are cozily ensconced in the Riverfront Retreat, all you will see and hear is the river and pine trees.
Winthrop is in the sympathy of the beautiful Methow Valley, the best place in the State of Washington for cross-country skiing and mountain biking. Hiking, fishing, birding, horseback riding, ballooning and rafting are all popular.
You can rent skis & bikes right in town. There are good grocery stores, restaurants and a seasonal farmers market as well.
