Understanding the high demand for an inexpensive self-catering suite at Sun Peaks, we renovated the downstairs of Hemingway
House with this in mind. 'La Cava' (Hemingway's favourite sparking Spanish wine,) features 500 thread-count sheets, private laundry, TV, DVD, wireless internet, and some special antique pieces. It provides sleeping space for 4 adults and, like Hemingway House, can be outfitted with a crib/toddler bed upon request, (for any child under 50 pounds.) La Cava, like the house above, is pet friendly. Access to the hot tub is for Hemingway House only, however, there are hot tubs at the sports centre - a five minute walk from the house. If you have a large group, you can combine both units in order to accommodate up to 15 people. The suite is completely separate from the rest of the house, so the two units are accessed by different doors, and privacy while renting either unit is ensured.
