Outside the window is a magical landscape of smooth round boulders rising over a frozen sea of Joshua Trees. The trail outside the front door wanders down into the canyon where there are hundreds of ancient rock engravings. Follow the road down the hill and the cafes, stores, restaurants and bakery are all easily reached. One can go from civilization to wilderness, from the present to the distant past, from this culture to another all on foot. One bedroom vacation studio It is such an amazing place it compels us to invite you as our guest in your own private studio. Take the path further and it leads to the back trails of the Joshua Tree National Park.

This is the view behind the Guestroom looking at the hill of boulders meant to be climbed.  Boldering is truly right outside the door.
