Neustadt-Süd is a neighbourhood in the district called Innenstadt and it is located in the centre of Cologne, southwest to the Old Town. Around the central places "Rathenauplatz" and "Chlodwigplatz" there are numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. In Neustadt-Süd are also located: the Museum of Asian art with art from China, Japan and Korea, the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum, the Millowitsch Theater and several small private theatres. The parks „Volksgarten“ and „Innere Grüngürtel“ (including a small lake “Aachener Weiher” and hills) attracts a lot of people specially in summer. Thanks to the central location, this neighbourhood is served by several subway and bus lines.
