Sleeps: 10Lincoln House is one of the largest and best appointed homes in Soldotna with spectacular mountain views from every window. It has fabulous views of the lake and the mountains and the back lawn fronts on the lakeshore where we have a private dock.
There are three master bedrooms upstairs. Both are en suite with their own private attached bathrooms, individual private balconies, and queen-size beds. One of the master suites also contains a fireplace, a television with full cable service, and a brand new Jacuzzi tub.
The upstairs has an open floor plan. The living room has high ceilings and is newly furnished, including a Flat screen TV and a natural gas fireplace. Off the living room is a large covered deck with a hot tub.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a central island with bar stools for additional eating space. There is seating for eight at the dining room table.
The cross-country skiing on the lake and around the golf course just up the street is fabulous. The valley trail goes right by the front door so bike riding starts at home. Swimming is excellent from the dock. Sailboats, canoes, windsurfers and kayaks are available for rent just five minutes’ walks from the house.
Bookings are available for both weekly and monthly rentals.
Kenai river is famous for its sockey salmon run and the size of the king salmon where the world record was caught weighing over 97 pounds
Fly into Anchorage and drive to the Kenai Penninsula or take a 20 minute shuttle flight to Kenai then it is just 20 minutes to the house in Soldotna.
Don\'t feed the bears and watch for moose on the roads while driving.
Fish the Kenai river for kings from June through July 31, silvers in August and September, Sockey salmon from July 1 through August15. Snowmobile in the winter. Site seeing and fly outs all summer.
