The Dune Lake & Sanctuary can be seen from the Living Room, the Dining Room/ Kitchen area & the Master Bedroom.
This incredible unit features 10 foot ceilings, granite kitchen & bar countertops, updated kitchen appliances, wireless internet and a gas fireplace. All bedrooms have their own cableboxes, HDTVs and DVR disc players for movies, ceiling fans and private bathrooms. The master bathroom has a large jet tub & separate shower. The living room has two ceiling fans, a 55” adjustable flat screen HDTV w/cablebox, DVD & a Blu-Ray player with surround sound. The kitchen is fully furnished including small appliances such as a toaster, toaster oven, 2 coffee makers (drip style & a new Keurig unit) and blender. The cable network has the sports package and a DVR (recordable programs) papackage for the living room & master bedroom.
Sanctuary at Redfish is situated on 14 beautiful acres that border Big Redfish Lake, an ultra-rare coastal dune lake. These lakes flow in & out of the Gulf & are unique & very rare throughout the world. In the United Stated they are only found adjacent to our very own Northwest Florida beaches. They are truly a treasure of nature & make this location a one-of-a-kind destination. Sanctuary at Redfish is a gated 64 unit, 3 story complex that does not ‘overwhelm’ the amenities provided, even at peak periods (unlike high rise apartment complexes).
A shuttle boat service is provided (Shuttle service runs from March 1st through the end of October from 9am to 7pm) for a quick trip across Big Redfish Lake to our private white sands beach on the Gulf (or paddle across the lake to our private beach in one of the common kayaks, canoes or row boat). An umbrella and two chairs will be set up daily on the beach for our guests (included in the rate). Alternatively, a short 5 minute walk to a private boardwalk also delivers you over the dunes onto the beach - (or back to the condo after an evening beach stroll).
The expansive pool area is elegantly landscaped providing four swimming pools with waterfalls, the largest pool has a zero entry end. One of the smaller pools plus one or both of the hot tubs are heated year around. Enjoy drinks around the fire pit while bar-be-quing on one of the four large Weber gas grills surrounded by natural dune vegetation! The pool area has bathrooms, showers and locker rooms. Other amenities include a lakeside dock, with common kayaks and canoes, a gazebo over the lake, a professional exercise gym and underground parking.
The surrounding area supports 18 miles of paved bike trails (plus many off-road trails) riding up and down the coastal road connecting Blue Mountain, Grayton, Water Color and Seaside resorts, to mention a few. Bicycle rentals are available within 1/2 mile of the complex at Big Daddy's Bike Rental.
I lived in Atlanta, where my three sisters still live, and moved to Santa Rosa Beach 5 years ago. I lived in this 2nd floor condo for about 1-1/2 years until I bought a house on the bay (close to hwy 331 & only 9 miles from the condo) and have moved in there - living on the bay has been a dream of mine. I love the condo at Sanctuary at Redfish and the lifestyle it provides.
Scenic Hwy. 30A is Famous for the quality living and dining in a non-crowded slower pace lifestyle.
Sanctuary at Redfish is located on a brackish lake which borders the Gulf. These lakes are very rare (only a couple of places in the world) and provide a unique lakeside vacation with views and access to the Gulf with our own private beach and a 2 chair and 1 umbrella setup for our clients.
All of Hwy 30A has a paved bike path which can be explored for miles and miles. Off road bike paths are available in the nearby state Park. Watercolor and Seaside are a short distance away for day visits or nightlife.

If the surf is rather high or rough, life guards are on duty just a few blocks away from Sanctuary at Redfish for advise and supervision.
The Fall is a great time to visit as the rates are lower but the Gulf waters are still warm. Also, the heated swimming pool, the 2 hot tubs & the fire pit make cool nights toasty. The gas fireplace is a nice addition when the temperature drops slightly.
Rates are very reasonable during off season - starting August 17th, many restaurants lower their prices and run specials at this time.
