The location, the elegant atmosphere and the southern charm of the cottage quickly soothes a person into a state of complete relaxation.
 
All amenities furnished. Two queen beds, 2 sleeper sofas, TV in each room w/cable, high speed internet and a security system.
 
Provided is a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer along with a built-in ironing board.
 
Spend a lazy morning swinging on the front porch, stroll around the spacious yard or grill your supper on the screened in back porch.
 
The Evergreen Cottage sits in a quite rural neighborhood north of Historic Conway, South Carolina, just 4 miles from Old Reeves Ferry. Conway's oldest boat landing and it is open to the public.
 
The Evergreen Cottage is located about 6 miles off Hwy. 22 at the Hwy.90 exit to Conway and Little River Beach. Easy access to Hwy. 31 and Hwy. 17 By Pass. The Evergreen Cottage offers lots of privacy. The beautiful surroundings are great for anyone wanting to experience country living while experiencing all the fun all the surrounding beaches have to offer. The cottage is for folks who like to avoid heavy downtown beach traffic and who loves the beach yet refers not to be among all the hustle and bustle of the beach 24/7.
 
Close to all beach attractions. Cherry Grove Beach, Little River Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach is 15 to 30 min. Murrell's Inlet Beach and Garden City Beach are 30 - 45 minutes away. Pawley's Island Beach and Georgetown is approx. 50 to 60 minutes away.
 
Near by Attractions are Broadway at the Beach, The Carolina Orpy, Dixie Stampede, Myrtle Waves Water Park, Barefoot Landing, House of Blues, Margaritaville, The oceans, the rivers and water way, the endless Clubs, the restaurants and outlet malls.
 
Take time to enjoy the Southern Charm in one of the oldest towns in America. Conway is an Old River town that was established in 1733 in what was then South Carolina's Colonial Frontier. Revel in the beauty of the Wacamaw River down at the Conway Marina approx. 8 minutes from the cottage. Take a scroll along the Boardwalk, enjoy all the sounds of nature, wild animals and the Oak and Cypress Trees.
 
Fish along the banks of the ponds, river and oceans or ring your boat. Picnic or dine at one of the small area restaurants. Take a tour of the Waccamaw River with Captain Jim on one of his boats for a 90 min. history and wildlife tour ride of the river or enjoy visiting all the specialty shops in Conway. Access the Waccamaw River on your boat at one of the local boat landings and continue your ride right into the Intercoastal Waterway Channel, continue and right on into the Atlantic Ocean for a full day of fun!
 
The cottage sits close The Great Pee Dee River, The Little Pee Dee River,  The Waccamaw River, and more.  Visit Wilmington North Carolina one day to tour the USNC ship.  Take a another day and travel to Charleston, S.C, and visit the Old Fort Sumter Ship yards, Submarines, Naval and Coast Guard boats and ships.
 
Other attractions are Brook Green Gardens in Murrell's Inlet, Myrtle Beach and Huntington State Park, Low Country Plantation Boat Rides in Georgetown...45 - 60 minutes away. View the Plantation homes, Rice Fields, see where the rivers and Ocean come together. Little River offers boat rides on the Sea Thunder out of Harbor Gate Marina... 25 min. from cottage for a ride from the Inter Coastal Waterway on into the North Atlantic Ocean to view the Dolphins. Available in numerous places are Jet ski's and Pontoon Boats. Calabash offers Casino boat rides and sail boat rides. Visit Pawleys' Island for a day of fun on the beach.
 
Conway Boat Marina, Downtown Restaurants including Coppers, Grocery Stores and outlet malls is 6-8 miles away. Convenience and Video stores less than 3 miles away.
 
There are approx. 100+ Golf Courses along the Grand Strand and surrounding beaches.
 
Conway is an Historic River Town. It offers many name brand restaurants, bars, a six movie theatre.

Richard and Nancy Grinstead rented 1981 to 1986 the old red farm house built in 1952. 1994 we began remodeling, an on going process for us. since moving to Tennessee in 1992 and through the years and struggles of raising a family, Nancy's liver transplant 2009 and Richard's major stroke 2010 and 2 heart attacks 1997 and 1998. We struggle to hold onto The Home place. Nancy has always believed that the home belongs to God and is given to us for us and our guest to enjoy as. Nancy's prayer is that God would the people he wanted that desire a place like ours to escape from lifes' day to day troubles. We continue to make the place more and more enjoyable for all.Nancy took the cottage off the rental program until she knew she could save the home. March 21st,2015 is first day back on rental program. We have re painted and took down some trees and added some improvements. New pictures soon coming to reflect the updates inside..
