Hi, I'm Dave Scott, your host here at Clyffe House Cottage Resort. I am the fourth generation of my family to welcome guests to our beautiful valley on Mary Lake in Muskoka. Since 1885, we have been providing a safe, fun and affordable getaway for families across Ontario and more recently from all over the world.
In the Summer, we cater to families. Our shallow, sandy beach is ideal for children. In Spring and Fall, we specialize in family reunions and special events such as triathlon training weekends. With thirty-one bedrooms spread over nine units, we can accommodate up to 62 people.
Why stay with us? Clyffe House is located just two hours north of Toronto in the heart of cottage country. We are surrounded by scenic hiking trails, stunning golf courses, and great restaurants. Our guests also enjoy visting Santa's Village, Huntsville Heritage Place (Pioneer Village) and Algonquin Park; all only a short drive away!
Our price includes 20 boats, tennis, firewood, propane, horse-shoes, beach volleyball, campfires, playground equipment and many other activities. We ae in the centre of Muskoka, the most popular tourist area in Ontario, Canada!
We offer waterskiimng, tubing and sailing at a nominal additional charge.

I am a graduate of Trinty College, University of Toronto with an M Ed from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.I was an English consultant in Etobicoke for 3 years and a Department head in Oakville for 15 years.I worked in education for 33 years. Now I am retired from teaching and operate Clyffe House Cottage Resort.I enjoy hockey, tennis and reading.I have 4 beatutiful grandchildren.

We accept Visa and Master Card and personal cheques or money orders.
We refund deposits if cancellations are received in writing 60 day prior to check in date (30 days prior in spring and fall) minus a service charge of between $100 and $200 depending on the size of the cottage reserved and the season.
