This comfortable, quiet, unit overlooks downtown Juneau, the harbor, Mount Roberts Tram, the summer cruise ships and the majestic Mount Juneau.

The home is at the end of a very nice street with lighting and sidewalks. The home is directly next to undeveloped woods so it is quiet and tranquil.

The unit is the first floor of a private home. Your unit has a private entrance and is down a covered, lighted set of stairs. The unit is at the end of the street so your private, partially covered deck looks out at the Gastineau Channel, cruise-ships, downtown Juneau, Mt Juneau\\Roberts and the tram. Directly to the right of the unit is a 1/5 mile of greenbelt undeveloped ‘wilderness’ area that includes a short nature path leaving from your unit.

A short wilderness trail begins at the unit and a five minute walk takes you to the trailhead of one of the best trails in Juneau. The three-mile Dan Moller trail ends at the Dan Moller Cabin, a Forest Service public day use cabin.

Three stools stand around a stove\\cooking\\ kitchen area with oven, range, dish washer and double wide fridge with ice and filtered water.

A full washer and dryer are also private for you along with a sitting and family room in the back with an office area, window and another bed. This family room is a great place for the kids to spread-out.

The bathroom has a tiled, heated floor with full tub\\shower. Bathroom is pass-through so you can get to it directly from the main bedroom or the hallway.

Both bedrooms have comfortable beds, night stand, closet, clocks, an Iphone player and other amenities.

Dining room table has four chairs and there is an additional full-sized table on the deck with four chairs.

We'll do a free (receipt costs only) run to Costco so when you get there you have what you need to relax. Plenty of the basics are there already along with blender, coffee maker, bowls, plates, cups and glasses, cooking pans, flour, spices, etc.

Your private deck is partially covered and includes deck chairs, table and a propane bbq. Inside the sliding glass doors is a great room with flat screen with DVD, dining room with table with four chair and a large comfortable couch.

There is a road bike and a mountain bike for your use. There is also a double kayak but while we’ll provide the life-jackets, you’ll need to provide the other amenities (requirements) for kayaking including radio, noise-makers, and self-rescue devices. The reason we don’t provide all of that is because we don’t want people taking the kayak unless they have all that stuff and know how to use it. The water is too cold not to take seriously.

So this is your vacation place. We’re there if you need anything, but if you want your privacy, then our paths will likely not pass unless we happen to be getting out of our cars at the same time.

The unit is a 20 minute walk to the local Foodland IGA Grocery Store, restaurants. An additional five minute walk takes you do downtown Juneau.
