Nice home, quite neighborhood, exactly as Kaye describes it. Fully stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances, very comfortable furnishings. 4 of us spent 5 days there at the end of July and we had a blast. Kaye and her husband are very easy to contact along with them being willing to accommodate special requests if needed, we asked for an early check in due to our early flight which was granted. We did have an issue with the brand new A/C unit at 8:00 PM but she had it repaired and running again within 2 hours, that could have been a disaster as it was 97 degrees and humid that day. The only 2 things I would point out is the beach is a bit of a walk from the unit but the pools are fairly close, but as far as towels for the beach and pool are concerned I would suggest you bring your own. My wife and Aunt were put in a bit of an embarrassing situation when they asked for a towel at the pool and were told they were not available to “you people” as they were not guests of the resort, only renters. This was said out loud and it seemed to only pertain to them (not a race issue so please do not think that). If you need towels for the beach or pool I suggest either you bring them or Kaye provide them in the unit. Charleston and Isle of Palms are beautiful and well worth the visit. So many restaurants and sites to visit. I strongly suggest you have at least 1 meal at Pages Fried Okra, just be prepared for bit of a wait. Thank you Kaye!
This house was perfect for our family of six and our grandson. The bedding and furniture were very comfy. One room has two twin beds and the other rooms have queens. The dining room table was large and fit our whole family. It had every appliance you could want plus an outdoor charcoal grill. It is only a two block walk to the beach, so very convenient. The sports card has time restrictions with two of the pools but we spent most of our time at the beach anyway. The gym was an extra charge. Any questions were answered quickly. We would love to go back again. We really enjoyed our stay.
What a wonderful, beautiful, spacious home with so much to do on walking distance! We loved the beach and pool bar! They had great live music. There was lots of room for our 6 adults and 1 toddler. We had a ball and highly recommend it!
The home was neat, clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens, too. The owners could not have been more accommodating, they were available for any questions or concerns. I will definitely return.
Pros --great location in the Wild Dunes resort. Close to pools and easy walk to the beach. (we did not get to take advantage of the Wild Dunes amenities since it rained our entire visit.) We did walk to the beach. (Note: the walk is easy if you aren\'t loaded down with full coolers and chairs) --large living space, comfy beds, plenty of privacy for 2 couples --Our coffee maker did not work and although we told Kaye it wasn\'t a big deal she still stopped by while we were out to try and fix it. She left us a new one. --We used the kitchen for a couple meals, small but has most everything that we needed. Cons (nothing that would stop me from returning) --since it rained the entire trip we spent more time than usual in the house and the wi-fi did not work. --shower head in master bathroom needs updated --we left our cooler on wheels at home because they provide one however the cooler\'s handle has been broken so you have to carry it...
