The Fireweed, built in 2014, is gorgeous with handmade furniture and accents built by the owners. At 600 square feet it is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath vacation rental with a full kitchen, gas fireplace, in-floor radiant heat, 2 LED flat screen TV's, leather furniture, private porch with gas BBQ and incredible view! This is the perfect vacation rental for a couple looking for a peaceful, relaxing and invigorating place to stay! We have some of the nicest lodging in Homer! Our property sits on the bluff 550 feet above sea level, overlooking Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains. The Fireweed is situated on the 1st floor below the Alder. The Fireweed and Alder share a lawn, large outdoor fire pit, horseshoe pit and sitting area on the edge of the bluff. COMING IN THE FALL OF 2017: WE WILL BE ADDING A PRIVATE HOT TUB!

Cancellation Policy

·   We require a 50% deposit at the time the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due 15 days prior to your reservation.

·   If you do not show up for your reservation or you cancel less than 15 days before, you will not be refunded.

·   If you cancel 15 - 45 days before your stay, the 50% deposit will not be refunded.

·   If you cancel over 45 days before your reservation your deposit will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee.

·   We will make every effort to re book your dates so that you owe the least amount possible.

Amazing views & handcrafted extras


We stayed here 5 days over New Year's Eve 2016. The fireweed cabin was perfect. The Well stocked kitchen has most everything you need to make home cooked meals. The cabin has the most amazing Beautifully handcrafted furniture made from rough cut timber, radiant floor heating and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever had at a rental. The best part is by far the view, you are 550ft above the bay and have the most amazing views of the mountains as the sunrises and sunsets. The fire pit is a great place to enjoy the views. We will definitely be coming back ti stay again.
