Description
This is a quaint little cottage in a convenient location in downtown Salt Lake City. The cottage was built in 1916 and retains the charm that came with structures from that era, including squeaky floors, wooden doors and windows, a front porch with screen door, and a brick fireplace with mantel. However, modern conveniences are also included, such as, central air conditioning, free wifi, granite countertops, roku TV, and insulation to avoid a drafty feel in the winter.
The two small bedrooms have a king size bed in one room and a queen in the other. A 5th person can sleep on a sleeper sofa that has a memory foam mattress - definitely not your typical sleeper sofa. Bedding and towels are provided. Front-loaded washer/dryer are available for your use.
The location of the property might be its biggest appeal. With the opening of City Creek Center in 2012 and other major property renovations, Salt Lake's downtown is being revitalized and a great place to stay and visit. This bungalow provides you with easy access to everything that downtown has to offer while keeping things quiet and peaceful at night. Our safe deadend street makes all the traffic noise, sirens, and city commotion go away while you sleep at night, but lets you walk to the places you want to go during the day.
