Description

Lions Gate Getaway is a private studio in a lush, tropical setting, hummingbirds share their 270 degree view of St. John, Tortola and Red Hook Harbor. In just a few minutes you can walk to Red Hook for shopping, dining, drinks and night life or catch the ferries to St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
 
The spacious balcony is a perfect way to enjoy your first cup of coffee or to sit at night and watch the colors change over the islands with a cool drink in your hand as the breeze passes by.
 
My husband Chris and I have lived in St. Thomas for over 20 years. He came to dive, I came to sail. We met and found we both had a love of the Caribbean water and lifestyle. Chris has built this house at the top of the hill, and now we have expanded to accommodate guests in our apartment that captures the Caribbean lifestyle. Absolutely more beautiful than even the most beautiful pictures could offer!


We drove our jeep up the steep road and were thankful we had a jeep but most thankful we chose lions gate for our week of solace! You will live in the trees with the flowers, birds, clouds and sunshine! What an amazing retreat this was; we will never stay anyplace else on St. Thomas! Disappointed that we could not sail with Max due to the weather but it is a must during our next trip!

An ideal place to get rejuvenated.


Ideal location close to restaurants, shops, beaches and St. John. Beautiful and cozy environment with lovely views of the harbor St Thomas and St John. I was able to get some exercise when I chose to walk up and down the hill from the property. Chris and Max were charming and helpful.

Awesome view and location!


Great restaurants close by, snorkeling, parasailing, golf, sailing with our host Max, botanical gardens, white sand beaches and the ferry to St. Johns all within walking distance. House was clean, comfortable and well-equipped ... bbq too! Max, Chris and the dogs were wonderful hosts ... we will return.
