This beautiful 3 bedroom/2.5 Bath home is nestled on the Mountain hillside overlooking Ojochal, with stunning views of the river mouth and the Pacific ocean.
 
'Estilo de Vida' ('The Style of Life') is available for short-term and long-term rental.
 
The property offers a private pool with complete privacy due to the secluded nature of the property. The temperature of the pool is a wonderful 86 degrees all year around. Located at an altitude of 700 feet above Sea level the property avoids the problem of pesky mosquitoes. Watch the Howler Monkeys in the trees and humming birds and toucans right from the pool deck. Enjoy a daily visit from our resident Coati!
 
The 12 acre property includes a private nature trail that leads to a stream and then on to the main river that runs through the property. Enjoy a swim in the river and then head back to the house spotting monkeys and Blue Morpho butterflies along the way.
 
Each bedroom has a walk-in closet and is air-conditioned. The air conditioners use the latest Inverter technology which causes the unit to slow down as it nears the set temperature. This results in very quiet operation (no condenser kicking in and out) and as it is running constantly it results in very low humidity levels (35 to 40%) which makes you feel cooler. Free High Speed wireless internet is available throughout the house.
 
The house features a remotely monitored security system that you can activate when you depart the house each day.

Additional Rate details

Based on Occupancy of 6 people. Additional persons add $10/night. Add nights to your 3 Day stay - $185 (High), $155 (Mid), $125 (Low) or to your week - $170 (H), $145 (M), $120 (L). Other Rates - 3 Week - $3,300 (H), $2,800 (M) and $2,300 (L). Add nights - $150 (H), $125 (M), $105 (L). 4 Week - $4,200 (H), $3,570 (M) and $2,950 (L). Add nights - $150 (H), $125 (M), $105 (L).
A $300 security deposit is due at the time of check-in and is refundable at check-out assuming no damages.

Absolutly fantastic, complete luxury and nature !


absolute paradise! fridge stocked when we arrived with essentials , tropical fruit, coffeee & even beer, incredible views,, Toucans Howler Monkeys and trails , comfort, luxury, sheets pillows etc high quality , lots of nature and easy to access house , just wonderful! from start to depart our experience was great, beautiful clean house with clean pool and stunnng views , very spacious living space and bathrooms and very nice quality bed linen, fully equipped kitchen (enormous Us style fridge ) with everything you could need , big bonus: great high quality washing machine and dryer: super efficient, Costa Rica is often rainy so that was appreciated , we dream of coming back recommend 100% just fantastic for a family hoiiday or other . Location is great, we did playa ventanas , parque national ballena, punta uvita, dominical, excursion to isla del caño, noyaca falls , el pavon falls ....

We loved our stay here!!


Spectacular view! Felt as if we were a part of the jungle in that we experienced monkey sightings and sat watching a sloth for nearly an hour! Lots of birds, too! Absolutely wonderful. And the property manager welcomed us with a basket of goodies upon arrival! That was really special.

Great Return Trip


Last year our family of 6 spent a week at this beautiful home. We had such an awesome experience that we returned back for a second stay this summer. The view from this home is fantastic. We enjoyed seeing howler monkeys, toucans, a coati, and much more while staying on this property. Our family loved taking the hike to the river and relaxing in the small waterfalls and refreshing pools of water. It was a nice base to explore the Uvita area from. The washer and dryer were a bonus. The whole family loved swimming in the pool each day. Our family would definitely stay at this house again.

Spectacular views, great pool


Lovely house on a hill overlooking the ocean. Large pool. House is large and very comfortable. Close to town of Ojachal, which has several wonderful restaurants. Also close to the wonderful beaches.

Everything We Needed


Our stay at Estilo de Vida was wonderful! The bedrooms upstairs with the shared bath were perfect for our three girls, and we enjoyed the master suite downstairs. Our daughters loved the pool, as did we! So much to do in the region--we only scratched the surface. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is a \"must\" as we were surprised by the grade of the drive way. We highly recommend this property.
