A 'by boat only experience' that boasts a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System which means clean, pure and odorless water to enjoy. Waterfront features 2 floating docks, 4' wide aluminum "sure grip" ramp, large covered pier head with water and electricity, fish cleaning sink and table, lighted walkway and Tiki Bar. Our dock is located inside the seasonal NO WAKE ZONE.

Wonderful stay!


We had a fantastic weekend out on goat island here! The house was clean and had lots of room to spread out. The master bedroom has the most amazing view of the intercostal that was a dream to wake up to! Loved spending the day on the dock, grilling out on the deck and watching the sunset on the bay out back! Doug and Sharon were so warm and welcoming and really made sure we all were situated! Can\'t wait to return for another long weekend here!

Wonderfully Relaxing Home


Goat Tales was just as described and more. The kitchen had everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner AND an oyster roast. We ate dinner looking out on the waterway. Our family and friends enjoyed the sitting by the fire pit and on the dock. The den had enough room for everyone to have a after dinner nap. Doug and Sherry made sure that our Thanksgiving was truly special.

Wonderful getaway for our family. Plenty of beds and baths. Ate Thanksgiving dinner looking out on the water. The pictures are accurate but they don\'t do it justice. Plenty of dishes and appliances for making our big meal. Enjoyed visiting around the fire. Planning to go back.

We had such an amazing time at Goat Tales! From pre-booking through check out, Sherry and Doug were wonderful. We live locally, but wanted a fun weekend getaway for my husband\'s 40th birthday and the house on Goat Island was PERFECT! It had everything we needed for a fun weekend on the water, and it felt miles and miles away from the mainland (even though it\'s only a quick boat-ride away). The cold weather didn\'t deter us from having an amazing time - the fire pit and deck were a perfect spot for us to enjoy some local shrimp and oysters. Our children absolutely loved exploring the island. We\'re already planning our next trip to the island!
