Tropical Breeze is a lovely 3 story Jamaican villa rental conveniently located in the heart of the town of Negril. Our prized location is within minutes of the famous 7 mile stretch of white sand beach, and the sparkling Caribbean sea. Our cozy, comfortable 4 - 8 bedroom villa offers a casual laid back atmosphere where you can relax and unwind, while taking in the splendor of the tropics.
 
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor, with an outside staircase leading to 3 upper level units. The 8th bedroom is on a lower level with private entrance and en suite. All 8 of the bedrooms in the villa contain an A/C unit, bedside fan, secured in wall safe, flat screen television and cable or DVD player.
 
There is ample space in the villa to accommodate up to 16 persons making this an excellent, economical vacation choice for both small and large families, groups of friends, co-workers, wedding parties or up to 8 couples.
 
The villa features a large, modern, fully equipped kitchen. Our living room has a brand new sectional couch, flat screen television, cable, and Wifi. We offer a selection of reading material, games and movies. At the front entrance to the villa we have a large front balcony which seems to be the gathering spot and dining area. We have 2 sets of glass table tops with dining for up to 10 here. If additional space is needed we also have seating for 16 on the lower deck area. Functions such as weddings, reunions, meetings etc, we can host up to 50 people, with on site catering, live music or D J. Wedding planning services available. We recently hosted a wedding reception for 45 people in which I was also the wedding planner. Everything from the beautiful cake, the flowers, the bar, to the live band & photographer was arranged by myself . We also planned the menu for the reception meal and catered the event right on site. Our lovely terraced deck area is a sun lovers paradise or a wonderful, scenic area to lounge the day away. Soak up the sun, relax or swim laps in our gorgeous, inviting 20 foot swimming pool. There are tables with umbrellas on the pool deck and plenty of lounge chairs. We recently added a bar, built onto the pool deck for serving you poolside beverages or whipping you up some delicious tropical blender drinks.
 
Just beneath the pool deck on a lower deck area we have an authentic charcoal jerk pan where we do fantastic jerk chicken, grilled lobster or roast fish to name a few. Adjacent to this is a small stage area for hosting live entertainment or a D J for your wedding / event. Just off the lower deck area by the water fountain is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sea salt when coming from the beach or for before entering the pool.

Steps from the villa is the local fresh fruit and vegetable market where the friendly ladies manning the stalls are happy to show you some exotic fruits you may not be familiar with. Behind the market, right in our lane is Conch Hill Italian restaurant offering delicious pizza and pasta options. There is a 24 hour dumpling shop in the lane offering fried fish and breakfast options. Several other restaurants in the immediate area. Within a five minute walk of the villa are amenities such as grocery stores, banks, a Cambio, post office and shopping. There are also several duty free shops in Negril offering everything from local rum to Cuban cigars to jewelry and of course T-shirts and trinkets. The entire beach road and west end road are in close proximity offering a wide variety of entertainment options with live reggae music, jazz and blues or international acts. The Jungle is Negril's biggest indoor venue offering live music or D J with lots of dance space, a spot frequented by locals as well. There are also a few after hours clubs to choose from for those not quite ready to call it a night. No matter where you want to go in Negril, we are in a central location and all areas are accessible within minutes of the villa. Taxis run frequently up and down both the beach and west end rd at all hours, making it very easy to get around the small quaint town of Negril.

I was born in Canada in the early 60's outside of Toronto. I attended high school in Brampton, Ontario and was bit by the travel bug at an early age. At 17, fresh out of school my girlfriend and I started out on a venture to western Canada, hitchhiking across the country (I didn't exactly tell my father about the hitchhiking part!) After travelling for a few months all over B.C and Alta. we finally landed in the beautiful resort town of Jasper Alberta. I spent the next five years working three jobs, partying in between and then traveling at every opportunity that came my way. I was fortunate enough to spend nine months wandering around Europe, Greece, Israel and Turkey. The next year I went to Mexico twice, unfortunately my father passed away shortly thereafter. The first trip I took after his death was intended to heal my soul from his passing. I decided on going to Jamaica.

We had a very pleasant stay. Everything was clean, secure, and we felt very much at home. Owner was always available and very helpful with regards to choice of foods, tours, local knowledge and sites to visit. We recommend Tripical Breeze for all those who wish to take their \"home \" with them on vacation.

super bowl week


Six guys from an Ottawa area hockey team all in our 50\'s spent super bowl week at Tropical Breeze. The house was nice and clean and plenty big enough for 6 guys. We took advantage of having our evening meals prepared for us and was the food ever good. I would highly recommend this option as each meal had a local twist and was really fantastic. The pool has lots of room to sit around and is cleaned daily it seemed. All 6 of us had a great time at Tropical Breeze and are planning a return trip. Dave

Great July 4th Holiday 2016


What a great time we had at Tropical Breeze. Karen and Desroy and Marvin made us feel like we were in the \"real\" Jamaica not in some resort in Miami. It was a perfect place for me and my kids and my grandkids to spend the holiday. Karen even invited one of the two year olds from the nerighborhood, to play with our two year old grandson in the kiddie pool. The beach was a short walk and the market was even closer. We bought the meal plan which was a deal. Marvin is a great cook. He taught us how he makes jerk chicken and we are doing our best to recreate it back in Chicago. Desroy was there every day to make sure all was well and to direct us to everything we needed. Sunday morning was lovey with the singing from the church down the road. We will be back, especially because I hear Karen is adding an extra air conditioner in the kitchen/living room for us wussie folks from the US.

Amazing stay at the Tropical Breeze Villa


Six of us just came back from the Tropical Breeze and had a wonderful time swimming in their pool, enjoying Jamaican cuisine, and exploring the surroundings. The villa is in the center of town with a very short walk to the 7 mile beach so on your way to or from the beach you can exchange money, visit convenience stores, grab fresh fruit & vegetables, ice cream and fresh jamaican patties, or do a little shopping. Marvin the chef (and Karen the owner) cooked us amazing meals (the best we had all week), Desroy looked after our every need and was always smiling, and Karianne was there every day keeping the place immaculate. To know each of the staff by name tells you how personal and welcoming everyone was. I would recommend the Tropical breeze to anyone looking to enjoy the culture of Negril instead of a cookie cutter resort. They treat you like family, the villa is lovely and modern and very affordable. You could have some lazy days without leaving the villa or wander off to the cliffs or beach action within minutes. We\'d go back in a flash.

Amazing Negril Experience!


Tropical Breeze was a very authentic and unique way to experience Negril. There were six of us (three couples) and we used the main level of the Villa – which has four large bedrooms, two washrooms and a kitchen and living area. It’s very clean, nicely tiled and very comfortable. Karen was an amazing host, Desroy was fantastic for absolutely anything you might want, and Marvin cooked us very authentic Jamaican cuisine with really great flavours; and Kerrianne kept it all nice and clean for us. They are a great group – they’re there for you whenever you need them, but are in no way intrusive or in the way. We knew we had this team there for us, but were still surprised at the level and quality of service we received. Whatever we needed, they made it happen – very accommodating and easy to get along with. The outdoor property was also amazing – a really nice porch to enjoy our meals and evenings; a big pool with lots of lounge chairs and tables; and a large patio to hang out on. It was cool to experience being right “in town” and being around the locals; yet it was a quick 7-minute walk and you’re on the start of the most beautiful 7 mile beach – with lots of places to grab a lounge chair and hang out, grab some lunch, or do some of the great beach experiences (glass bottom boats, catamaran tours, parasailing, etc.). You really get the best of both worlds by staying at Tropical Breeze – the real authentic Negril feel, as well as being so close to what I think is the most beautiful beach.
