Description

Pictures do not show the open, airiness of this house which is set on an incredibly beautiful, white, sandy beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Most rooms offer great views of the ocean, and it is a short walk over the dunes to the beach. Wildlife is abundant on the island. May and June, September and October are just magnificent here. See rates below for our Fall specials. Weekly rates from April - August is $1,950.

The house has an elevator that goes from the parking level up to the first floor; great for bringing babies, luggage, groceries up to the main level; also great for people who have difficulty with stairs.

Although the house sleeps four comfortably (one king size and one queen size bed), there is also a loft with a futon which converts to a double-size bed. The loft is reached by a beautiful, oak, spiral staircase.

The living room and kitchen have a cathedral ceiling. They are large rooms with a low wall between them adding to the open feeling in the house. The windows are large. You will never feel closed-in here. Glass sliding doors lead out from the kitchen to the all-weather enclosure where you can dine al fresco, without some of the annoyances of being outdoors, if you wish. The bedroom is a large room with a large walk-in closet. There is also a dining room.

The location of Harbor Island is fabulous for golfers (there are four public golf courses in the area) and for visiting such cities as Charleston, SC, Savannah,GA, and Hilton Head Island, SC. Historic Beaufort, often called 'Little Charleston,' is about 15 miles from the island and is a very charming and historic city. The Marine Corp training base at Parris Island is about 20 miles from Harbor Island.

This Beach House has a Super Nice Oceanview.

This is a Great Rental if you need a Elevator. It is a short walk to the Beach across the front yard and broadwalk(But watch out for Sand Spurs). You can park under the House in two places(Great Space). If you want to use the Elevator someone first needs to go up the stairs at the back of the house and bring it down to the First Floor.(South Carolina Law requires that the Elevator be keep on the second floor when not in use). There are two bedrooms(one Master, one smaller) in this Home and they are both on the second floor beside each other and the bathroom is across from the two bedrooms(Nice Bedrooms). It has a Full Shower and Tub combined the light switch for the Shower and Tub is located in the Hallway on the leftside of the bathroom door. It will also turn on the Lighted Mirror over the bathroom sink. There is a nightlight you can leave on for the little ones if need too. The Living Room has a Great Fireplace and it does use \"Real Wood\" (but you would not need this in the Summer and Early Fall Months). The Kitchen is Super Great!!(that is all I have to say about that) and the switches to turn on the Grabage Disposals are inside the cabinet doors on your rightside. The Dining area is Great!! (just right across from the kitchen). The third floor was my Favorite place of all!! It has a Fold down couch that will make a bed and a bathroom with just a sink and toilet. The Veiw from the Third Floor is to die for in the morning when the Sun come up out of the Ocean and into the sky(WOW). The House has many Skylights that gives you the feeling on living outside. The only things that would be wrong is there are no TV\'s in the smaller bedroom and up in the Third Floor(If you are crazy for TV). But all in all for your Money this is another Great Place to stay on the GREATEST PLACE IN SOUTH CAROLINA, HARBOR ISLAND!! PS: This Place is Pet Friendly and if the pet could talk he would say Wow what a Great Place too.
