Description

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath log cabin sits on over an acre of riverfront property. The large open floor plan has a living room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river just yards away. We can start on the main level with the large and open great room. It has plenty of seating for 5 or more and comfortable viewing of the large flat screen TV. This cabin is also equipped with WIFI. The Kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances and a full complement of cookware and serving ware. The center island bar is large and sturdy for overflow groceries or meal preparation. Up to 4 guests can also dine at the kitchen island for convenience, 6 more can easily fit around the large dining room table. From the dining room, one can access the rear deck that contains a gas propane grill (extra tank included) and picnic table for outdoor snacking and dining. The King master suite is large and spacious with a huge walk-in closet and a private bathroom with dual vanities, 2-person jacuzzi bathtub and a large 48 inch wide stand up shower. The TV in the master is a 32 inch with DirectTV programming. Access to the rear deck and hot tub is through the rear patio doors.Down the other hallway is a Queen bedroom with log bed frame and a 20 inch flat screen TV with DirectTV programming and a built-in DVD player. This is a private bedroom with a closet, dresser and end table. The hallway also offers a full bathroom with shower/tub combo and a Washer and Dryer for guest convenience. Travel up a short flight of stairs to the loft with 2 twin beds with trundles, a private full bathroom and a another TV with DirectTV. The loft is an exceptional space for kids. The sleeper sofa in the living room converts into a queen bed and it can accommodates 2 more guests, for a total of 10. The rear deck sports a HUGE 7-person Spa Crest therapeutic hot tub, picnic table and propane gas grill with spare tank for outdoor dining and relaxing. The gorgeous flowing Talking Rock Creek that cuts along canyon walls is a few steps from the back deck. With the ability to enjoy river fun at this cabin is sure to meet your Appalachian experience expectations.
 
Added bonus, Rivers Edge Cabin is part of the Talking Rock Creek Resort. You have full access to both outdoor swimming pools (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day), fitness center, swimming/fishing pond and river access with some great fishing opportunities. Just minutes from the marina at Carters Lake, where you can rent pontoon boats, go fishing, swimming, hiking or ride some first class mountain bike trails.
 
Conveniently located halfway between Ellijay and Jasper, a few miles from Carters Lake with paved roads to your front door, easy to get to. Plenty of parking, and only a couple of easy stairs to get to the cabin. Shopping and restaurants are just thirty minutes away. Everything from waterfalls to wineries with day trips to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Amicalola Falls State Park, Ocoee whitewater rafting and miles of hiking and biking trails all right in your back yard.

Place was very nice, cozy and had just what we wan


We loved staying in your home. It was cute, cozy had a Jacuzzi which was great. Loved the layout of the home. No neighbors so we were able to hike around the area near the creek. It was beautiful. We built fires chilled played softball, football. Things that it needed were better lighting which you did mention it is dark. And some light bulbs were out. Nice to have had extras. And could have been cleaned just a little better couple of dead spiders in some of the window sills. We stayed during Christmas and would stay again this Christmas Thank you for inviting us in your home. We truly enjoyed it.
