This unit has been completely renovated and redesigned.
 
Features include high speed Wi-Fi throughout, a wall mounted 40 inch Panasonic Plasma flatscreen TV w/DVD with full HD programming, a 26 inch Samsung flatscreen TV in the bedroom, central AC with an accessible thermostat for individualized comfort, fully tiled floors, a high profile king bed with multiple sets of high thread count 100% cotton sheets, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans in both the bedroom and lanai, light dimmers on almost alll the switches, and full length curtains with blackout along all the windows to provide total darkness if desired.
 
Inside and out this unit offers a spectacular way to relax on the edge of the ocean.
 
The property is part of the Boca Grande Club which is a gated, 62 acre private residential community on the Gulf side of Gasparilla island. Amenities offered at the Club include the casual 'Upper Deck' restaurant, a more formal 'Clubhouse' restaurant at beach level, 3 pools including one with poolside lunch and drink service, an oceanside 'Tiki Bar', beach chaises and umbrellas around all of the pools and along the beaches, an expanded and very popular fitness facility, 8 clay tennis courts with 3 tennis pros 'in-season' offering organized drills, matches and lessons, a small retail tennis shop, provision of towels at the pools, fitness facility and tennis courts, and a spacious separate Library/Quiet area that has books, a TV, comfortable couches and a piano for those times when guests prefer a little 'out of the way' quiet time.
 
Programs offered include Yoga, Water Aerobics, Circuit Training and Bridge.
Bicycles and golf carts can be rented at the Club and both are excellent ways to explore the island.
 
Boca Grande (formally known as Gasparilla Island) is located off the southwest coast of Florida, north of Naples and south of Sarasota. It is part of the 'barrier chain' of islands that includes Sanibel and Captiva. Connected to mainland by a short, tolled ($6) causeway, what makes Boca Grande unique are it's miles of beaches and it's tranquil, relaxed, Old Florida feel: no highrises, no malls, no traffic lights, and no neon signs. Despite it's small size, the town on the island is charming with excellent shopping and several very good restaurants.
 
The unit, the Club, and the island offer privacy, relaxation and rejuvenation....a fantastic vacation get away.

We live in a large North American city where dealing with traffic, stress and frustration is a part of daily life. Boca Grande is at the opposite end of the stress spectrum....the antidote to big city living. The ocean, the beaches, the people and even the vegetation promote relaxation and a refreshingly slow pace. Prior to buying on Boca we'd looked and stayed at a number of Florida locations. We concluded that the east coast of Florida was much busier than we wanted, that Naples and Sarasota, despite their beauty, were too much like the city, and that Longboat Key, Sanibel and Captiva Islands, while closer to what we were looking for, just seemed that much bigger and busier than what Boca Grande had to offer. Boca is a very 'upscale' island, and while we really like it's 'Old Florida' feel we really appreciate that the island has all of the conveniences of modern living including some great restaurants. We're pretty active people and while Boca and the Club give us the opportunity to run, go to the gym, play tennis, golf, fish or go boating, it also gives us the opportunity to spend hours on the beach walking, reading or simply lying in the sun.....all pretty nice alternatives.

Cancellation greater than 7 days before arrival.....Full refund less a $50 admin fee
Cancellation 7 days or less before arrival.............No refund*

* If the unit is able to be re-rented for the same amount as that paid, then all monies will be returned less the $50 admin fee.

No smoking
No Pets
2 person maximum
7 day minimum stay during the months of January through April
4 day minimum stay outside those months

Requests:
We ask that arrivals and departures happen on Saturdays and Sundays, particularly 'in season' which runs Nov 1 to May 31, as these fit best with most people's vacation schedules

Additional Rate details

Departure Cleaning Fee: $120
 
Temporary Club Membership Fee: The Boca Grande Club charges guests $100/couple/week for a Temporary Club Membership which provides for guest use of the Club facilities including the pools, the tennis courts, the fitness centre, the beach chaises and beach umbrellas. 
 
State and County Taxes: 7% and 5% respectively

This property has everything you need for a perfect stay, the owner keeps you very informed on area restaurants, the amenities of the club, and the property is so appealing decorative wise. Just a few steps to the beach and stunning views of the sunset!

Sensational Sunset Condo in Bocha Grande


My husband and I had a wonderful time in Bocha Grande. Mack\'s condo was perfect for the two of us. The location was fabulous. It is just a short walk from the condo to the pool/clubhouse . We had a week of sunshine and sunsets. We enjoyed watching the sunset each night with a cocktail on the beach just steps away. We celebrated our anniversary at the Bocha Grande club. The food was fabulous. We enjoyed the casual dining in the upper floor and at the tiki bar by the pool as well. We rented a golf cart and road into town for some of our meals. Mack\'s recommendations were spot on! The condo itself is clean and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to prepare our lunches and breakfasts. I recommend this condo for a nice and relaxing get away.

Five-Star Fabulous!


This charming condo looks to be straight out of a \"Coastal Living\" magazine feature and not only that, it has all the amenities you need for a great vacation. The view is stellar and you can walk right out to the gorgeous beach. The HVAC works, the spacious bathroom has two sinks, the kitchen is well-equipped, the TV\'s are great and wi-fi reliable. The Boca Grande Club has a nice pool and thatched-roof pool bar as well as an excellent tennis facility and very good restaurant. The helpful owners leave you coffee, wine and snack nuts - perfect to get you started on a beach holiday. This was our third time there and as usual, we hated to leave. Love love love this place!
