Description

Located in the Gold Star community of Locust Lake Village. This big, beautiful open layout Pocono home is perfect for family and friends gatherings. It is nestled in a lovely tree-lined lot at the end of a  quiet cul-de-sac. The home has an open layout of over 4400 sf, with three floors with front and back decks on all three floors. The entrance leads into a grand family/game room with a brick fireplace, wet bar, game room, and back porch. First floor has a pull-out sofa that can sleep two people. The second floor is a wide-open gathering area encompassing the kitchen, living room with brick wall fireplace, wet bar, and big dining room- all open, spacious, and bright. There are also front and back decks with picnic tables and plenty of lounge chairs. On the third floor are five spacious bedrooms. The window room has a queen and a twin with a private deck overlooking the tree line. The white room has a queen and a bunk bed. The brown room has a queen and a twin bed. The balcony room has a queen and a twin with a private deck. The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom.  All bedrooms have their own closets. Full bathroom on the third floor. Half bathroom on the first floor and a full bath on the second floor.  Locust Lake Village offers three lakes for swimming, boating and fishing, and many activities to keep you and your family entertained: Tennis courts, basketball court, beach playground area, private ski and sledding hill, ice fishing, archery, and a clubhouse. It is centrally located near all of the Pocono activities, such as historic Jim Thorpe, Lehigh River Gorge, Boulder Field and Hickory Run State Park, Pocono Raceway, shopping at The Crossings, a number of golf courses and ski areas such as Camelback, Big Boulder, and Jack Frost. Easy access from major highways- PA Turnpike I-476, I-80 and I-380, I-81and I-84.

Perfect location, amazing and super spacious house!


This house has enough space for 5 families with kids, it is very clean, all bedrooms are on a third floor which is great because you always can take a nap and get some rest from kids playing in game room on a first floor. I should not even mention that house have perfect location, it is in a walking destination from a beautiful lake, and just short drive from all ski resorts and waterparks of Pocono. We will definitely come back soon!

A huge and beautiful estate


We celebrated my brother\'s 30th birthday here with 11 family memebers. As soon as we pulled up to the chalet we knew we were going to love it. The amenities inside were perfect for entertaining from the pool table to the three decks available. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely pursue future bookings.

Fantastic winter weekend


My family, friends, and I all had a blast last weekend staying at this Chalet. The house was so big that no one ever felt like we were on top of one another. It was also clean and close to many of the activities we were doing. Everyone in our party said we should stay at this place again in the summer. The only issue was the heat not working on the ground level but things happen. None of the bedrooms or living room was on that level anyway. Connie was also extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great relaxing, post holiday weekend!


First off, the house is simply amazing. HUGE! Set back in a private lot with plenty to do inside should the weather impact a golf/ski weekend. Ping pong, foosball, pool table, multiple rooms for gathering. Some friends and I have an annual gathering after the holidays where we look to just relax and unwind after the rush. This year we chose The Chalet. And we were very happy we did. Everyone (15 people), slept comfortably. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all! Connie was more than accommodating and very responsive and determined to make sure your stay at The Chalet is a memorable one. We hope to rent again if this sure to be HOT listing is available! Great House for a Large Family


The house was huge! We had a group of 17 and it was more than enough to accommodate our group. Bedrooms are on the 3rd floor and plenty of space to hang out on the 1st floor after the kids go to bed. We would stay again.
