We loved our stay in Apartment A. The air conditioned bedroom, sitting and bathroom area were spacious and nicely furnished. We especially liked the outdoor kitchen and patio area with a great breeze way to the other side of the building. It was a great place to sit in the hammock and enjoy the breeze.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were nice, clean, and comfortable. Veronika was a great help. Parking was easy and the location was quiet yet easily accessible to various attractions. We highly recommend this option and hope to come back again.
Hi...just returned from an 8 night stay. Rented Apartment A...outside stairs to huge terrace....about 36 x 20 feet...bigger than my daughters NY apartment...well equipped outside kitchen....nice for entertaining at night...very clean...bedroom was also very large...with big bathroom including walk in shower...Location is best of all.... need a car for sure, but at the extreme North end of the island. Lots of traffic during the day...tours going to California Lighthouse, but after six...the neighborhood is a ghost town....almost zero traffic...great water pressure...excellent water quality...our daily routine...breakfast ...lounge...a \"long\" 75 step to the best snorkeling beach...must be because 8-10 tour ships visit both morning and afternoon...back for lunch...reading or groceries...Super Foods is about a ten minute drive away... Afternoon our big seven minute hike to Arashi Beach...gorgeous...(no snorkeling)...just water bobbing...felt sorry for all the nearby hotel tourist who has to schlep all their gear and take a bus, while we just...sauntered on...Drove around the island and couldn\'t find a better location...Very hot...your 12 degrees North of the Equator so the sun is about 125 feet away...or so it felt...breezing almost windy most of the time, but it is really needed...Aruba is a desert island, so don\'t expect anything lush, in fact kinda ugly (sorry Arubians)...with the exception of the Caribbean Sea...WOW!
Apt B has been home for the past week, and I couldn\'t imagine a better spot on the island. The view from the patio of Boca Catalina Cove is spectacular, and the 60 second walk to this best snorkeling spot can not be beat. It\'s a short swim or walk to nearby Arashi Beach, which is also beautiful. The accommodations are comfortable and spacious. The property is in a residential area, and within 10min drive or less to dining, groceries, activities. Also, the rental car they offer is in great condition and very convenient to have. Veronika and Viola are helpful and easy to contact.
We recently returned from a quiet, relaxing one-week stay in Apartment B. The location is absolutely the best! Having such a nice, small snorkeling beach right across the street can not be beat. Many of the snorkeling cruises stop at this beach but there is plenty of space for everyone. There is so much to see underwater! After we explored the island we were really glad not to be in the hotel areas. It was so nice to be in a residential area but very close to the hotels/restaurants/etc. The apartment has a beautiful view of the beach from two balconies and both windows. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioned room is large, with a couch, coffee table, dining table, single bed, huge flat screen tv and large wardrobe including a safe. The kitchen has everything you need including a full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, filters, dishes, etc. There are lots of windows in the kitchen and we left them open the entire time. It\'s just like being outdoors! The outdoor living space was great for lounging in the shade. It has a large dining table, large hammock and a grill. The bathroom is small but nice, and the huge open shower is awesome. While you can sometimes see your neighbors in apartment A, it never bothered us (our view was far better!). Viola and Veronika were super helpful and friendly. They are around if you need them but are never intrusive. They offer free local phone calls and have several travel brochures, restaurant menus and things like that available. Definitely rent beach chairs from them for $20 each. Totally worth it if you\'re going to spend any time on any beach. (They also rent snorkel gear.) We also rented their rental car and this was so convenient. Great little car and it doesn\'t have a huge sticker on it that says \"I\'m a rental car\" like the others do. (Not that it really matters, but I thought it was nice.) Aruba is a really great place to visit and we will definitely stay here again when we return! Thank you Viola and Veronika!
