Welcome to my very own Baja Treehouse! My home is decorated with items that I have collected all over the world during years of travel. It's a very peaceful and quiet space. Comfortably furnished with relaxation in mind. Well equipped kitchen. Beach toys, folding chairs and bicycles available to use. Neighbors are friendly, 24 hour guard steps from house, management on property for immediate assistance. Walking distance to La Marina de Baja eatery/bar. House is on a very quiet 6 mile long away from front door. Everything you need for a perfect vacation, getaway, quiet weekend and great family fun is waiting for you at the house. However, there is no home is meant to bring families and friends together for conversations, sharing great meals, watching sunsets and sunrises, beach walks, board games, bike rides and so much more. There is high speed wifi internet for those of you who have to stay connected to the outside world! Just about any amenity you will need is there. This is my personal home...I work offshore for months at a time and would love to share my home with all of you to enjoy as my family and I do. My grandchildren LOVE to spend summers with me here in this house. The view from the balcony is amazing and the sunsets from all rooms in the house are absolutely breathtaking!
The Space:
There are 2 bedrooms, each with it's on ensuite bathroom, each with its own balcony with amazing views and each has a queen size bed. There are also a large couch and oversized love seat that could sleep a couple more. Additionally, the living room is covered in a really thick shag several kiddos to sleep if necessary. This is where my grandbabies always choose to sleep with pillows and there are plenty there to use. This house is made for quiet, relaxing and enjoying. No detail left out. Lovely fabrics from around the world, nicely equipped kitchen, dinning table to sit 6 comfortably and snack bar for another 4. Fast Wi-Fi available. So much to do here, within walking distance or short drive. 1 mile to bus stop. 30 minute drive to downtown Ensenada and all it has to offer. This community is mostly English speaking American/Canadian retirees. Most everyone in the area, including local Mexican business owners speak English. There are many, many planned activities in our concerts, games, etc.
Guest access:
This rental is for entire house. Huge bedrooms and baths. Nice open living space with dramatic panoramic views. Garage is off limits to guests, but manager has key and can open to allow guest access to borrowing, free of charge, beach chairs, toys, boogie boards and kids and adults. 4-6 bikes available.
Guest interaction:
Although I won't be there to personally greet you, Sandy, neighbor and property manager lives in the apartment below. She will always be there to greet you, assist with check in and out and has a wealth of local info to share with you!
Neighborhood overview:
The house is located 1 house back from a 6 mile, sweeping, expansive and BEAUTIFUL beach! One end is the main highway that can take you to La Bufadora or to other end of the beach and road to the house is a dead end. Ending at the most amazing, unspoiled sandy beach! Along the way is La Marina Restaurant and Bar. Awesome horseshoe playground there overlooking the estuary. There are many wonderful eateries a mile or two in either direction. Just ask Sandy, she know's all the cool hot spots and what's happening on most days. The area is filled with mostly retired Americans and Canadians...English widely spoken and the US dollar accepted just about everywhere! Most folks around here are animal lovers and advocates.
Getting around:
There are small local buses (The Micro) that run hourly until about 8pm. Nearest bus stop is at the front of our 2 miles away. Depending on your activity level, it's an easy walk. The buses can take you to the nearest town, Maneadero where you can catch another Micro to Ensenada. Cost is less than a dollar one way. This same bus can take you in the opposite direction to La Bufadora. Otherwise, you will need a car to get around. The house is on a 6 mile nice walks daily.
