Great Mountain Biking at Tahoe Mountain a mile and half from the front door or awesome mountain biking up off of Oneidas. Cleaning Fee $165, includes spa cleaning. The spa is cleaned after each guest leaves for safety.

I rented this cabin for a 4 day stay with my son and his family and our dogs. This is a very well maintained cabin with a big fenced backyard for the dogs (They loved it!!). And the grandkids had fun playing in the backyard too - there was a ton of snow. It is set up so well for two families. There is a nice, comfy downstairs family room with recliner/sofas, lots of games, a cozy fireplace and a Blu-ray and Netflix. There is a downstairs bedroom and bath that worked great for me so I didn\'t have to go up and down stairs. Upstairs are two big bedrooms -one with bunkbeds so the kids were thrilled and a huge bathroom. There is also a really nice upstairs family room with a big wrap around sofa and bigscreen TV, also with Blu-ray/Netflix. Really a nice set up to give some space for two families. We played lots of games, and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. We borrowed some sleds to go to Adventure Park so that was really nice and saved renting them. It is a short drive to the shops and restaurants at Stateline, but you are out of the hustle and bustle in a quiet neighborhood. Go outside at night and you see lots of stars and hear absolutely nothing. Heavenly. We enjoyed the spa very much. Dan is really nice and easy to work with and very accomodating. I would rent this house again and I highly recommend it to anyone who is travelling with multi families. A great stay, but all too short.
This was the perfect rental for our vacation! I come to SLT every summer and rent through VRBO. This was by far the best yet. The home had everything we needed, and is in a perfect location. I love that it has two \"family rooms,\" one downstairs and another upstairs. At night it was fun to sit in the back yard, enjoy the spa, or relax on the upstairs balcony. There are plenty of games on hand to play as well. I will definitely book this rental next summer. Thanks, Dan!
A very nice smaller rental home with an easy to work w landlord. Instructions given were clear and timely. Very much enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful stay this past weekend at Rainbow 6. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you might to use in the kitchen. Plenty of towels, tissue, paper towels and anything else you might need. There is a lot of snow equipment in the garage that you can borrow. It is also very close to a lot of shops, eateries and stores. It\'s on a very quiet street so be mindful of neighbors. As long as you\'re not unreasonably loud you won\'t have any problems. Dan is super easy to work with it. I mean super easy which made renting the place a no-brainer. If there were any cons I would say that there isn\'t any TV\'s in the bedrooms. And that\'s actually just a con for my particular family because they\'re all TV addicted. It didn\'t bother me any because there are two giant TV\'s in both family rooms but it did drive the little ones and teenagers crazy. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back soon.

This house was perfect for four adult and my small dog (the 4 includes: myself, my husband, and two of our friends). The location was great for us - we walked to a couple breweries and it wasn\'t overwhelming, at all. The theater upstairs was super fun. The kitchen is small but, with the living/family room and eating area set right off the kitchen, the size of the kitchen wasn\'t really an issue (it was tricky to fit all four of us in there at the same time). It felt quaint inside. The backyard was awesome! We bbq\'d, played dominoes on the patio table, played bocce ball (provided by the house), and just hung out - the crisp Tahoe-air was quite enjoyable. The one small question/gripe we had was: the deck was very recently painted before we arrived. The paint wasn\'t dry and the smell was strong. Our shoes/flip-flops would stick to the paint. The handle of the bbq was also painted, which was awkward for the designated bbq-er because it wasn\'t dry. Just seemed like an odd thing to do before people stayed at the property. However, we appreciate the effort of up-keep! Overall, I would recommend this house to others. We had a great time!

I would just like to say that Dan was great working with. We had a great time! It was a first for us being in the LARGE hot tub while it was snowing!!. The dogs loved the nice fenced in the yard. The pictures don\'t show it but they have a new sectional upstairs and and nice flat screen TV downstairs. So many games to choose from to play. Everything you need in the kitchen. The kitchen table has four chairs and their is a closet with extra chairs where you can comfortably seat 6 or more if needed. Close to everything, easy to get to, well maintained and would definitely come back! Thanks Dan!
Gorgeous home. Very easy to get to. Owner is wonderful to work with. Dan refunded my entire deposit the next day. Home was clean and stocked with more than I expected. The hot tub was great after a day at the beach. My dog loved the huge yard. Pictures don\'t do it justice. I would definitely stay again and refer my friends.
What a beautiful and spacious home! We stayed this past weekend: 5 adults, a toddler and dog. There was plenty of space especially for the 2 yr old and dog to run around freely. The photos do not do justice to the size of the home! The two family rooms were great for my elderly parents downstairs and me and my sister and her family upstairs. The bedroom downstairs made it easy for my elderly parents so that they did not need to use stairs. Each family room has a large, flat screen tv including a blu ray player and plenty of couch space. The large fenced in backyard was great for the toddler and dog after a long day at the beach. We were able to relax out there while bbq-ing. The bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds. Bathrooms and kitchen came equipped with paper towels, dishes, pots and pans, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap ..pretty much everything you need. The beach chairs in the garage came in very handy for beach days. The house is conveniently located by stores (Raleys, Kmart, Peets Coffee), beaches and casinos ...less than 10 mins away! Quiet neighborhood. Dan (owner) was very kind, responsive/helpful to all our questions and was available both by email and phone. Easy and very flexible check in and check out process. He even refunded the deposit the very next day! Thanks Dan! First time using homeaway.com, but thanks to the good experience during this vacation, my family and I will not hesitate to book rainbow6 for our future South Tahoe visits!
we stayed here last weekend while in the area for a concert. The pictures of the house are accurate. There were six adults, two teenagers, a toddler and two German shepards. The house is roomy and clean. The hot tub was great in the evening. The back yard is large more than enough room for dogs. The only thing missing was a fire pit. We loved our stay and look forward to staying again soon.
This home was exactly what we were looking for for a nice getaway. Centrally located around everything you need, and worked really well for my family and I and all of our dogs. Beautiful backyard and spa, comfortable rooms and (2) separate living rooms with tvs. Dan was wonderful and very friendly as well. Hopefully we get to book this property next time we are in Tahoe!
We spent Christmas here with our 2 young children & our 3 dogs. It\'s was so comfortable & relaxing. We played in the snow out back & out kids & dogs loved it. There are snow boots (kids to adult sizes) & a couple sleds to borrow. We watched movies upstairs & played games. There are lots of games to choose from for all ages. We did a little grocery shopping & the house has everything you need to cook a nice meal. We baked a ham for Christmas. It was really like a home away from home. Close to the lake & plenty of shopping. Only a few miles from the casinos too. Dan is very nice & responds quickly to inquires. We booked last minute and he was very accommodating & helpful. The price is very reasonable too. I\'m hoping we can make another trip in the new year when there is fresh snow.
We had a great time at your home in Tahoe, place was great! Was easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. My grandson had a great time outside with the dogs as well as the adults in the hot tub and playing frisbee. The home theater room was awesome (even if the grandson didn\'t let us watch much up there.) Enjoyed the house enjoyed my family what more could you possibly need. Thank you Dan for all your assistance. We left ice and a few things for your next guests.
We love the location of this rental. We went both to North and South Lake beaches. The backyard is so green and plush, and very relaxing. This home felt like home away from home. Love this place. Will be back to rent this place for our next Tahoe trip. The owner was very prompt when calendaring our stay through VRBO.
We so enjoyed our stay at this house. The first floor had everything I needed, bedroom bathroom kitchen and livingroom and the Guys tood over the second floor with the home theater set up and bedrooms and bathroom. I have physical limitations so it was great to not have to negotiate stairs at all. The home was clean and well stocked and our dogs enjoyed the backyard (fenced in is such a pleasure). The location was perfect close to everything but incredibly quiet. We noticed how noisy it is where we live as soon as we got home. Until we can move to Tahoe this is the next best thing. I stayed here with 10 of my friends last weekend and the place was just like the way it was described in homeaway and true to all its reviews. Dan was very accommodating and responsive. He was very open and pointed out what may not be right due to the previous rental and even gave a discount. The house had lots of small handwritten notes and tips on the walls that gave a nice warm and friendly touch to the place. It showed how much they wanted the renters to have a great time. This is definitely the place am going to stay whenever I come to Tahoe. Pros - Hot Tub, backyard, close proximity to Marina, lots of beds. Cons - None
We had a great time at this vacation rental. The location was very central. The house layout was perfect for 2 families & a dog! It has the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen for a vacation rental & was very handy w/ little kids. We will definitely keep Rainbow 6 in mind when we return to Tahoe.
Rainbow 6 was a perfect get away home for my family. The place was clean and accommodating and we will be coming back to stay again in the future.
Thanks Dan for renting this wonderful place. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We really felt like staying at home. Kitchen had all the supplies needed like salt,sugar, oil and other spices you name it. Had enough towels and linens. We did book the stay for only 2 nights. My kids and us wanted to stay longer. We did not get time to use the spa . No noisy neighbours. Close to all the places at Tahoe. We did have wonderful memories at this vacation home. We sure will come back and recommend to our friends in future. Listed photos were accurate. We did receive the deposit sooner than expected. Dan is very friendly in answering phones and emails.
My friends and I went for an all girls getaway. It was perfect. The house was better then expected. More then enough room and we loved the big pillows to plop down on in front of the gas fireplace. The two separate family rooms are great for families with kids, too (although we didn\'t bring ours :) Dan was always available for any questions I had. The hot tub was an added bonus and we definitely took advantage of it. I couldn\'t believe how stocked the kitchen was. It blew my expectations away. I\'ll definitely be back. Thanks so much for a great Thanksgiving! The house is cozy and spacious with everything one needs. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, big backyard with plenty of snow play, and everything the house had to offer. The owner, Dan, was always there via phone if I had any questions (or needed advice on getting out of the snow lol) and is very caring and helpful. I can\'t wait to go back !!!
We had a very enjoyable trip to Tahoe and it was made even better because we were able to \"spread out\" in this wonderful home. There were six of us including my 11 year old grandchild who is confined to a wheelchair. She loves \"Everybody Loves Raymond\" and we brought along her DVD\'s so she could watch the shows downstairs, while we cooked, read or played games. The upstairs theater was great for the guys who loved watching ball games. After a busy day bike riding, hiking or being at the beach, the hot tub was a welcome treat. We were very impressed with this home and appreciated that so much was provided, from laundry facilities to linens, and seasoning in the kitchen, even paper towels. This vacation home, has it all and I have told my friends about it and have passed on to them how they can find it on the net. The owner, Dan has provided excellent customer service and the property lives up to the claims. We look forward to our trip next year and hope that we can once again stay in this home. It had been awhile since we had been back to South Lake Tahoe. We were looking for a house to rent that would have room for four adults and our beloved Shih Tzu, Lacie. We found everythign we were looking for at Rainbow. The house was very clean and had more than enough room for all. We played Yahtzee on the back patio, enjoyed TV in the theatre room, BBQ\'d again in the huge back yard and had a dip in th hot tub with all the stars in the sky as our backdrop. The house was well beyond well stocked. We brought way to many things that were already provided for us at the house. Dan the owner was there for our few questions and was really nice to talk to. We fished,kayaked,hit the casinos, shopped, took a lake tour and found a great dog beach for Lacie. Hope we can get back real soon. Rent this house and you will be more than oh so glad you did. Had three families here for a weekend in June and it was just perfect. The home is comfortably updated, everything you need and the two living areas kept the kids and parents on good terms. :) Lovely big bathrooms. Also had friends with a home in the keys, on the water there on the same weekend, but folks wanted to come and hang out where we were. Would rent again!
The Rainbow Cabin was perfect for our families. The backyard was a snow park for our toddlers & dogs, a spacious downstairs living room made a perfect play space for the two infants, and the upstairs movie room entertained the 9 year olds perfectly. The kitchen is filled with everything you could need for cooking (check the supplies before making a grocery trip as you will be pleasantly surprised to find plenty of basics), and there are games for all ages. The wireless was perfect for the iPods, and we will be bringing up the PS3 on our next trip. Dan is kind and accommodating. He was responsive to our questions and incredibly easy to work with. We will be future Rainbow renters.
This house was fantastic. My husband and I rented this house for our summer wedding weekend up in Tahoe. It was only 5 minutes away from Valhalla where we got married and it was close to the lake, casinos and hiking/outdoors. It had everything to care for our comfort and needs. It had the perfect amenities for a small get-together of family and friends the night before the wedding on the warm summer evening in the backyard, and then my bridesmaids and family had the house and all of its space to get ready during the day. Very spacious floorplan with two full bathrooms and three bedrooms and plenty of space for visitors comfort. Afterward, it was the perfect retreat for my husband and me to enjoy the comfort and quiet of the house. The house was very well maintained and clean with a great backyard deck and spa. The furniture and kitchen were perfect for all of our cooking and entertaining! Above all, the owner was a joy to work with and very accommodating of our needs. We highly recommend this house for families and couples!
This place is just what we need for a weekend getaway. It is clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and the owner is easy to access.
The place was great. I stayed here with a group of ten people and we had a great time. The house is very close to town (shopping, fast food, groceries, etc.) and just a couple miles to both the lake and the nevada side (night life and casino\'s). It has recently been remodeled and looks pristine inside. it was very clean and orderly. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with dishes and seasoning etc. The hot tub out back was new and clean and a treat in the cold weather. Everything in the advertisement lived up to expectations (the internet and tv\'s worked perfectly). The owner was extremely helpful to me personally. When we arrived, we were happy to find some brochures for activities and menus for several restaurants in the area. The owner had written tips and information on these telling us of his favorite places to eat and fun things to do. I was also surprised and happy to find a sled in the garage and several pairs of snow boots (which had a note on them telling us we should feel free to use them). I would definitely recommend this place to groups of 6-10. Thanks for providing us with a great place for a great weekend!
We stayed here for the New Year weekend. We were amazed when we first walked in. The pictures do not do this place justice! There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for the whole family. Though we didn\'t get a chance to use it, the spa was already steamy for us when we arrived. The work area in the garage was great for sharpening the edges on our skis and boards. 5-10 minutes driving to the resorts and casinos. The neighbors are friendly too!
This place has everything you need for a relaxing stay in South Lake Tahoe. It is in an extremely convenient location: close to Casinos, Ski Resorts and an easy \'in n out\' of town. My stay included 2 couples and the best part about this place is the 2 living rooms. Each couple had their own floor to themselves, privacy when needed. Everything worked and was very easy to use including: spa, kitchen appliances, WiFi, heater/fireplace and entry and exit. We have stayed at other places with sub par furnishings and out dated appliances that sometimes didn\'t work. Not this place, everything is pristine. Highly Recommend!!!
I\'m so glad to have found this property, its truly is a home away from home. I love that its close to all the happening in South Lake Tahoe yet its very private. The place is very clean, cozy and has all the things you\'ll find in your own home. The owner is really nice, he made sure we were comfortable and our stay hassle-free I will sure be back again and recommend this property to people I know who\'s visiting South Lake Tahoe.
