About Nancy GulbrandsenI've been traveling to the beautiful island of St. Maarten since 1982. I owned and handled vacation rentals for two beachfront villas during the 1990's.Nancy Gulbrandsen purchased this Condo in 2011Why Nancy Gulbrandsen chose Simpson BayI've been visiting the beautiful island of Sint Maarten/St. Martin since 1981 and it remains my favorite of all the Caribbean Islands. I've seen A LOT of changes during those 30 years! I owned 2 villas just down the beach from Las Arenas during the 1990's and slowly developed a year round vacation rental business which I sold in 2000. Now that my kids are almost grown I decided it was time to spend some more time on this wonderful island and found this special gem 'Paradise Found'.I visited 'Paradise Found' last January while on vacation and fell in love with the stunning property of Las Arenas, the magnificent beachfront location and stunning residence. It is tucked away on picturesque Simpson Bay Beach, a two mile, white sand swimmable beach which most people have no access to unless they are staying there.

We just finished a wonderful two weeks at Paradise Found. Las Arenas did not show any damage from Irma. The grounds were impeccable as always. The Dutch side of the island is coming back much better than the French side. Many restaurants on the Dutch side have reopened. The restaurant staffs are welcoming you with open arms. We have already circled our calendars when we will be returning to Paradise Found and beautiful Simpson Bay.
Paradise found is as beautiful as ever and you wouldn\'t know Irma was there. They have done an amazing job of everything needed to make it as it was. And speaking with Gordon the property manager they are extremely proud of there accomplishments. (And they should be !) Simpson bay has recovered wonderfully in the short 8 months since Irma. Most existing restaurants are open along with quite a few new ones. St Maarten is certainly WELL on its way of recovery. The Island\'s beaches are still as beautiful as ever. Hotels are under repair and expect some to reopen for the 2019 season . The Airport is still under repair but there temporary facilities are actually doing very well, very efficient . This was our 6th year at Paradise Found and looking forward to many more! This is an outstanding property and you could not find a better person then its owner Nancy to deal with. We want to say thanks for sharing it with us and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking to find true paradise!!! Scott & Sharon Mackenzie
The pictures are only a mere glimpse into the beauty of this property. It\'s even more stunning once you walk thru the door and see that gorgeous Caribbean Sea. It is meticulously well maintained and extremely clean. The owner, Nancy, is extremely pleasant to work with and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. She knows her stuff and has wonderful suggestions so take her up on them. She\'s been an owner on the island on and off for over 30 years! The condo has everything to make a gourmet meal (although I don\'t know why anyone would want to cook with all the terrific restaurants available) to everything you would need for a relaxing day at the beach. Don\'t be fooled by all the news about post hurricane damage. The island is up and running! The condo is perfectly located in Simpson Bay convenient to absolutely everything!
A GEM IN PARADISE!!!! Don\'t let this gorgeous condo pass you by. Why would anyone stay anywhere else is beyond me. The unit has EVERYTHING and more that one would need to make anything from a gourmet meal (although I don\'t know why anyone would want to cook with all the delicious restaurants around) to accessories for a day at the beach. The owner, Nancy, is extremely easy to work with and her love for the island shows thru in all she does. Her suggestions are spot on....TAKE THEM! She goes above and beyond ANYONE I\'ve ever worked with. I\'ve been going to this island for decades and this is now the ONLY place I will rent. IT.IS.GORGEOUS! Not to mention convenient to everything. Please don\'t be fooled by the media saying the island is a disaster zone. It is not. It is in repair, but there are soooo many things that are up and operating and even new places popping up all over the place. St. Maarten is open for business. IT\'S ALIVE! IT\'S ALIVE! I encourage anyone who reads this to book your next vacation here. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
We couldn\'t have asked for more with this beautiful condo. An oasis with amazing views, ample space, and very safe/secure. The condo was well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Gordon was also extremely helpful and offered tips and suggestions on where to go and what to do during our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed the beach, not crowded at all. The pool was also a nice place to spend the afternoon overlooking Simpson Bay. We were also very impressed by the building and ground crew team, who kept the property impeccable. Would highlight recommend this condo - wonderful accommodations and great location.
